Stove fire burners ignited one by one (having their drip bowls on). Recorded with a zoom h2 positioned in the middle of stove burners. Multiple gunshots recorded at an indoor gun range. Many of the shots are from an ak47, including single shots and full auto. There is some background noise, but there are some good clear shots in there that can be easily cut out and used. Unfortunately the original recording is only mp3 and the recorder had auto-gain set so some shots are recorded louder than others, but there are still some usable shots in there.

Recorded with a cardioid msh6 capsule - stereo mic open at certain extent - (via the zoom h6) the fireplace's sound gives a more discreet impression.

This is my recording of a fire truck by with horn honks and siren wails when coming in and going out.

Cooked bacon one morning, sounded awesome, recorded it. Sounds like a fire. Or bacon.

So one of tac0's friends came by with a civilian style contact stun gun and tac0 does what he does best, blasts it a small room for 1/10 of a second. Mp3 48,000 hz at 256 kbps. Pitch: at -30 semitones you get some low pitched sound similar to a airsoft aeg which may be ideal for montage airsoft videos where piles of tokyo marui m4s traditionally muffled by the gopro waterproof case. // at -45 semitones you resemble gun fire at a distance. Mathematically at 10 rps (600 rpm) you could use this as a sit in for a distant fired ak-47 rifle ideal for video games, war movies, mods, etc. Apply a resonant filter and some reverb for appropriate outdoor acoustics. And nobody will know your distant machine gun sound was a civilian stun gun except for us semi colon right parenthesis. Or you could also apply ringmod at ~9000 hz to simulate ear ringing for those ptsd scenes. Trimming + looping + pitch: if you can loop this properly in a daw you could even create a saw style bass for electronic dance music.

A plastic bag, paper wrapper and other materials were recorded individually being rubbed. I then layered them in audacity to be played over each other. From the resulting layered sound i generated this 10 second loop. Sounds like a mellow rain upon the ground or a slow crackling fire. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Attribution appreciated but not required.
