This is an ambient recorded on december 6th in san telmo market in buenos aires, argentina, with the zoom h2. We can ear tango music played by one piano and one bandoneon. Also the people walking around.

This is a recording made just outside my window. A helicopter flew over just a minute later, twice! i used a cheap large diaphragm condensor mic, with a plastic bendable tube around it, pointing just outside of my window. This created a cool midrangy-resonant-combfilter kind of sound. Gear used: cheap ldc -> m-audio dmp3 -> terratec ewx2496. This is for the earthfirewindwater contest. It is a 2:08 minute long, stereo 24/44 wave file.

Desperately needed to find a sound for a hand that's moving in the air, but couldn't anywhere here. This is what i made and used, it's not the best but it worked for me. It was made with waving a sketchbook in front of the mic. Recorded on my mac's mic.

An air duct vent i found outside. Can combine this with other machinery sounds to make an air plane propeller, engine, sci-fi weapon sounds, etc.

Burst of air next to a mic. It was originally intended for a bullet hitting a ballistic vest, but it obviously can work for some kind of a pressure releasing sound too.

This is a digital swoosh sound that i made for a track because i couldn't find one so i made it my self using a synth and an fx vst, it sounds like a cross between a sea wave and a jet pass.
