Your stereotypical wind chime sound effect. Used a lot for transitions into dream sequences and flashbacks in movies and films. I took a very fast recording of someone hitting some orchestral chimes, slowed it down by over 200% and added some harmonic excitement and equalization in post production. Tools used:- usb logitech microphone (no lies, seriously used this $10 mic)- fl studio 12 by image line- vitamin by waves- dynamic eq by izotop. The story begins by a music that i found. A open door, heels, then silence, a chair, computer sounds with mouse, retake of music and close of the door. , who is the ending of music too. To produce that, i choose audacity; i take recorded moments of life. For the technique, i choose a fade in and fade out for the music and the recorded sounds fit well together. For the moments of silence, when the work begins, i only let the recorded sound talk without music. I choose to work with two mono audio tracks: on for the music and the other for the daily sounds. Whenever i use my usb stick, my computer always makes an awful noise. I decided to record it and see if any of you guys can make anything out of it. To me it sounds like some sort of aliens or robots talking to each other. The only editing done was noise removal to get rid of the fuzziness and amplification to make it a little bit louder. I've been recording some sounds for a an upcoming project which led me to recording the underside of the lid of a salad spinner and dangling a small plastic tab on it as it spun. It wasn't my intention but it sounds a bit like an old film projector. You can get some interesting results with this clip by messing a bit with the eq which is what i'll be doing for the finished project. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. I applied 300 hz steep low pass (eq) on an inverse sawtooth soundwave generator. I applied many delay effects in tandem. Created on fruity loops and re-equed on wavelab. Mystic(has three submodes, scale-shifts [same intervals, overall shifted]). • do, re#, mi, sol, sol#, si• do, do#, mi, fa, sol#, la• do#, re, fa, fa# la, la#. (semitonally/fret steps: 0, +1, +3, +1, +3, +1, +3). (si = ti, do = c). It is chordable.
