After spending a weekend putting together a giant wardrobe (from everyones favourite swedish furniture store) for my girlfriend i thought i should reward myself by making some recordings of it. This is a close mic recording of one of the internal draws. For this recording i used my sennheiser mkh416 going into a sound devices mp-1 preamp and recorded to a tascam dr-680.

This sound was recorded by a very talented violin player that i know personally, and edited in audacity. I used the 'dolby on' app on my iphone to record it. Button pressed on the inside of a lift. The lift sets in motion for a short amount of time. Announcement says "4th floor" and doors open to an empty foyer. Door close automatically, button pressed and lift moves back to 3rd floor. Recorded on a tascam dr-01 in stereo at 16bit 48khz wav.
