I modified a sound i found on here (it was labeled as "cc0" or public) to give it a bit of a psycho sound. The original user is "memz" and the title they made is "thriller score horror scene". The only thing i did was rearrange the audio so that it echoes in and out. If you appreciate the sound, give "memz" the accolades and not me.

Test recording using pair of nt55 omni mics mounted end to end (using modified female-to-female xlr coupler) in a blimp. Recording on quiet but breezy day in norfolk village garden: sounds of birds etc. And, towards the end, a car going past. Recorded via sound devices mixpre-d and tascam dr70d. This second sound is a recorded sound of a bike chain, i modified it using some effects :1-normalize2-wahwah effect with-frequency = 3. 3 hz-start phase = 0-depth = 70%-resonance = 2. 5-wah frequency shift = 30%3-melt closingthe final sound gives an impression of a sound under water.

I wanted to make a sound effect for a game i'm developing, and so i recorded a 100-mm artillery cannon at camp williams (utah national guard), then modified the sounds using audacity. The recording was done on an olympus digital recorder in the mid-2000s (first decade). It sounded a little to me like the tribute cannon from hunger games (the sound effect that signals the deaths of the tributes), thus the name.

Finally having the hard disk next to the built in mic i use has helped me. For once. My hard disk running, modified in audacity 1. 2. 6, using the decay effect. I drew this thx deep note imitation in photosounder by drawing several lines with the white spray with the harmonics modifier. I first had a look at the original thx sound and tried to reproduce what i saw. The final chorus sounds bad because it's hand-drawn, so the right notes aren't hit plus the lines aren't straight so the pitches keep moving around a bit.

Oddly enough this man does not consider himself a baritone, and his speaking voice is not so deep. This was not modified except with noise reduction, because the air conditioning was audible. It just happens to be the deepest sound i've ever heard him make, and he wasn't awake. So it wasn't a moan, or a groan, or a gasp. Please tell me what you think it is. I called it an exhale, and yeah, i don't think grizzlies typically go this low.

Digital noise made from raw binary files extracted from hdd with hexplorer using raw import function in audacity. Files were 4, each made from 200 sectors. I modified each sound using filters and joined them together to make longer looping example. Good to use in a game or 3d video animation as background ambient noise. Audacity and hexplorer are freeware and you can make similar job with them. . .
