This is an antique georgian cuckoo clock recorded in the sacred halls of abberknackee, under the auspicious gaze of the lord and saviour herbert the mincing.
A drum pattern in 5/4 time. Someone on freesound's forums requested some strange timings for drum patterns, so i programmed these for them. This is my second pack. :-).
Triplet drum beat at 110 bpm, heavy swing feel. The sound has been treated with moderate eq and compression. The timing is not the most accurate; the suitability of this sample would depend on the importance of that.
Just a normal clock ticking. I created this sound for a radio report about the change from winter to summer time. For recording i used a simple zoom recorder.
Took a drum loop and pitched out 3 different layers of itself, one at half speed an octave down, one at quarter speed 2 octaves down, and one on top that starts out chopped up into separated transients and returns to full speed at the end. I originally made this to be 3 different levels of progression for a backing drum-loop, with the first section being the buildup, the second as the transition/windup, and the third as the breakdown.
For use at your leisure. I make most of them at 140 bpm so hopefully one day they make their way into dubstep. If you wish to have anything specific composed just let me know. Chop/splice/dice/herbs and spice them, best served piping hot, enjoy. Fondest regards,. Recorded with logic pro 9 using the exs24 sampler of the steinway piano (logic pro default) with a touch of reverb to thicken out the sound.
Audacity_temp cleanup detritus. Tiny clips from random sources, some of the mp3's are incorrectly tagged as being from the gorillaz album "demon days", but that is completely unrelated, so they're safe, mods.
This is the dirty tony's tom 16''. He recorded it at johnny's studio, the only studio with a hole in the wall! it has been recorded with four mics, and this is the mix of all!.
This is a low quality recording from a panasonic dvx camcorder microphone. This is a recording of random drum beats. Because of the low quality recording, i have not separated any of the beats, and have faded one into the other. The drum shells are spaun, and the cymbals are a mixture of zildjian and paiste.
This is the sound of a very large clock ticking while it's hanging on a wall in a room. I recorded this with the built-in microphone of a lenovo laptop.
