Because i consider myself primarily a harsh noise producer, i decided to upload a few examples for those who have ears still virgin to the horrors of terrorous hardcore industrial noise.

This is me, doing some pseudo latin voice over work for an audio play i'm working on. Basically this consists of 2 vo layers. One normally spoken, but pitched, the other one just whispering the same text in synch with the first layer. Add some fancy reverb and there you have your evil demon chant.

For creating this sound i used:handmade didgeridoo of pvc tubessound picked by microphone akj-xmk03effects used in post:in guitar rig 4:1. Tube compressor2. Ac box amp3. Studio reverb4. Twin delayin audacity:compressor.

This is a recording of the sea-side. The wind noise was was difficult to remove (i hadn't used a wind shield for the microphone); so i decided to use it as part of a sound designed piece. I would use this as background for gaming or for radio drama; you may use it however you wish.

Some spooky music i made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt!. It's a wailing electric guitar with some organs in the back creating a scary sound. It's a lot of reverb, echo and delay on it. I think of a creepy crypt with blood on floor and walls. Like something really bad just happens. . . . I believe it would fit anything creepy, scary, haunted. Fantasy, horror, terrifying, dystopia or whatever comes to mind. I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Some pretty interesting stuff came out. I often just say random stuff when all is quiet.

I created this torture sound for a short film i made. I used a verse 504 labtech mic with a sony mini disc recorder in my garage. I smashed a cantaloupe with a hammer adjusting mic placement until i had the desired volume and sound.

A creepy/scary breathing sound from a ghost or spirit of some sort. This sound was just short breaths and moans into my microphone paulstretched and edited in to this frightening sound. A slight improvement on my inception-sound. Wav , created using lmms, again 2 instances of zynaddsubfx and now also 2 instances of sf2-player with a trumpet type sound. I also used lowpass filter.

Not only do chicken carcasses make a tasty stock they also make great sounds when you mangle them about a bit!. Various squelching and squishing sounds with the occasional bone snap. No processing except small fade in/out. This one has a really annoying breath noise on the mic at the best bit unfortunately.

I took one of the monster very deep voice sound and tweaked it to sound like some kind of raging infected because i had to do it for a game. It's kind of like the sound zombies make in movies where they are not really zombies but raging infected people. I used : pitch shift, time shift, octaver, eq, overdrive.

I made this using my alto recorder. It is quite long but can easily be shortened. I just realized that i forgot to take the breath sound out at the end!! sorry! i will do better next time.
