Perfect for a short-lived flashback sequence. The chime starts a little slow and then kicks in normally, only to slow down and come to a stop. Sounds dark and creepy that sounds scary even in the daytime. Recorded with the yamaha ypg-525 using the fantasia voice and audacity. No acknowledgement necessary, but most appreciated. Thank you.

Taps played on the bugle by a member of the U.S. Army Band. It is played by the U.S. military nightly to indicate that it is "lights out". Taps became an official component of military funerals in 1874. The song accompanies a funeral procession at Arlington National Cemetery, and is generally present at most funerals.

A mid morning field recording on 05 march 2021 in our rural garden. There is a road at the side of the garden but i have removed what i could hear of the few cars that passed by. Also removed sounds of a gate and doors opening and closing. There was a slight breeze that a wind sock didn't entirely prevent coming through as wind noise. I have cut most of this.

Field recording of birds in my neighborhood and backyard on the east coast of the u. S. I believe a cardinal is most prominent here, but i am not an ornithologist so cannot say for certain. Some smaller birds (finches?) also audible. Recorded through an open window of a screened porch with a tascam dr-40x. Raw recording; a bat crack from a nearby athletic field is audible.

Assorted chord oneshots played on a piano that i found at the university of sydney back in 2014. Recorded in 96 khz for the heck of it, using a rode nt6 condenser microphone and a zoom h4n recorder. Sorry but i do not remember the chords and i am not musical enough to figure them out for the file names, but they are most likely all played on the white keys.

An mp3 audio compilation of a train horns, most rather short. Includes a whistle, pitch changes, and distorted audio. Taken from a youtube train compilation video (of which, unfortunately, i've forgotten the location). Therefore no credit goes to me except cutting/editing the audio. Hope it's useful. Check out my "train horns" pack for a huge variety of longer sounds.

A roar for a kaiju style creature. Lions, tigers, bears and a hint of whale song. Most of the sounds (a couple of bass instruments, several animal roars) come from garageband, along with some recordings of a human made on a zoom h1. All mixed together in final cut pro x with some pitch and reverb effects thrown on top for good measure. For attribution, please credit www. Laughingwiththestorm. Net.

Chop/splice/dice/herbs and spice them, best served piping hot, enjoy. Fondest regards,. Recorded with logic pro 9 using the exs24 sampler of the steinway piano (logic pro default) with a touch of reverb to thicken out the sound.

This cylinder includes "We sail the ocean blue" "Hail, men of warsmen", "I'm called Little Buttercup", and "A maiden fair to see" Performers include Elizabeth Spencer, Mary Jordan, Harry Anthony, Walter Van Brunt, James F. Harrison, and William F. Hooley.

La guacamaya (the macaw) one of the most popular songs of the traditional son jarocho genre. The interpreters are soneros del tesechoacán, a group originally from playa vicente, veracruz. They play those small guitars -imagine a ukelele in hands of a mexican- they call jaranas and also a 4 string guitar they call requinto. Recorded in oakland california. January 2012. I used a h2 zoom.

" i recorded this sound myself with a zoom h2 microphone and a kala classical ukelele.

Tornado siren in streamwood, il recorded during the monthly test. This version is heavily edited, with some filtering and compression applied, as most of the recording was distorted (i was too close to the siren!), although it should be useable with appropriate filtering to suit your purpose. The actual siren is located a short way north west of the geotag (it should be visible using google's satellite view). Recorded using a rode ntg2 into a zoom h4.

The very traditional jarabe tapatío, one of the most beloved pieces that you can ask to a mariachi group. The last segment is commonly use as fanfare (in mexico we call it "una diana"); you probably hear it in old mexicans movies. Location: tijuana, mexicotime: december, 2016. Riding a route taxi through the streets of tijuana. It's the evening on a weekday and people are coming off work. An ambulance cruises by. Passengers are silent most of the ride until minute 4:40 when the driver stops on a busy boarding zone. Coins jingle when people pay the driver. Most of this recording is of insects in a special field of native wildflowers at a dog-park on south mountain reservation in new jersey. Near the beginning of the recording, you can hear, in the distance, a dog at the dog park yelping in pain very loudly, perhaps after receiving a bite from another dog. The rest of the recording is pure ambience, except for a plane (newark airport isn't far off). ---two primo em172 capsules -> zoom h1.

This sample was created by layering short, improvised passages on a yamaha psr-275 into a boss dd-20 in sound on sound mode. Loop was played into a boss me-30 on harmonizer and pitch shifter settings, processed in real time, then faded out. Audio was further processed in goldwave (compression, added hiss, vibrato, etc. ) to give it a more believeable "old vhs tape" sound. I cut it to only include the most convincing segment of audio. (it's not perfect, but it's only an emulation!) 24 kbps, stereo.

Autumn is here and, to me, one of the most soothing of fall sounds is the wind blowing through the leaves of one of my favorite cottonwood tress, along with the lazy, nap-inducing sound of a propeller-driven plane slowly floating through robin-egg blue skies. This recording may sound a bit raw, because of the wind, but, i think it is nice to listen to. This was recorded using my handy zoom h4-n recorder and the microphone that i used is my trusty rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone.

It depicts the sound of a hundred birds singing in harmony and celebrates the beauty of nature in a lively and cheerful tune, which gives full play to the characteristics of the suona. Its popularity is widespread, with different versions available in shandong, anhui, henan, hebei and other places. The music evokes a love of nature and a life of labor with a warm and upbeat melody.
