This recording was done as a class exercise. You can hear people talking, dogs barking, some birds and insect sounds along with general street sounds such as cars passing by, honking, motorcycles, machinery humming, etc.

Background noise of a busy spot of a brazilian city (porto alegre). Chatter, bus noises, cars breaking and passing through in the background. This one has a little bit more chattering than the other 2 in the pack.
Ceramic mugs being clinked together. Useful for those moments of "cheers!" also probably useful for general mug handling noises if someone is carrying multiple empty mugs with one hand.
At the close of the children's hospital telethon immediately after it was announced that more than $4 million had been raised, people on the phone banks started cheering, this as the closing credits were being run on the tv screen. This is non-descript cheering, my recording in a public setting having been invited as a journalist to be there to report for broadcast. There are no copyright issues associated with this recording. This is the raw sound, including a few noices when my microphone got tapped. Edit, process to your hearts desire.
A few moments of exotic bird song, to suggest a cheerful, quiet, and somewhat odd atmosphere. Selected from this sound:https://freesound. Org/people/smudgepost/sounds/349470/.
The sounds of the british parliament, mainly the house of commons, as they break into cheers of support, or jeers of derision, or laughter. The speakers have been clipped out so it's just the roar of the crowd. Taken from the following open-to-the-public footage:http://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=qpzhugomnjehttp://www. Youtube.
