Since i have been lowing low on things to record i have been starting to record while i'm at school and it is working. The good thing is know one will know i am recording because i am using my audacity recorder on my laptop. I hope you enjoy my newest sounds.

Knocking 4 times really loudly on my metal and hardwood table. Recorded in audacity, processed in audacity. Reverb preset: large roomgraphic eq preset: low rolloff for speech. Recorded 6/03/2020 11:12 pm.

Soft knocking on a big wooden door, some noise fom the metal lock. Recorded with a zoom h2n.

It's a recording of someone using a hammer on a different level of the house. You can hear the doors of a room being closed and opened from outside and some other noises. There is a background noise of a refridgerator working in the second room. Recorded with a zoom h2.

Concrete foley performed with hands. Part of my ‘various hits’ pack - foley on concrete, metal pipes, and plastic surfaced objects in a 10 story stairwell. Recorded on iphone. Added fades, eq’s and compression for easy integration.

Selected the 4th knock sound from https://freesound. Org/people/timmeh515/sounds/413293/and applied some eq magic by boosting at 5 frequencies guided by ear.

At the beach, waves hitting up against rocks. Some wind noise.

Try as a loop! i used my acoustic guitar and did some knuckle-knocking on the body while muting strings. Sounds like a native drum! effect: speed increase from 33 1/3 rpm to 45 rpm, moise reduction and vol. Envelope. Recorded on conexant smart audio with at2020 mic, processed on audacity.

Slapping a punching bag with palm that is laying on the floor. There is reverb in the recording. This is a pretty hard slap. Mic: rode ntg3rec: zoom h5cleaned the audio in isotope rx4. Garden shovel clanging as it is struck. I needed the sound of someone getting hit over the head with a shovel for a theatrical production [ fuddy meers ]. I recorded my garden shovel as i struck it with my shoe; quite effective.
