(recorder: zoomh4npro 2018)(microphones: zoomh4npro 2018 on-board microphones). This is a recording of illegal fireworks being launched all over los angeles on the 4th of july, 2020. All surface to air fireworks are illegal but, due to covid-19 cabin fever, people just didn't care this year. This recording is almost 99% voice free. There was a couple on a balcony that are barely heard muttering something in just a minute or two of this recording. For the most part, it's clean. I kept the peaks very low to maintain a natural sound. All of my sounds recordings are provided free of all charges. I wanted to make a sound effect for a game i'm developing, and so i recorded a 100-mm artillery cannon at camp williams (utah national guard), then modified the sounds using audacity. The recording was done on an olympus digital recorder in the mid-2000s (first decade). It sounded a little to me like the tribute cannon from hunger games (the sound effect that signals the deaths of the tributes), thus the name.

Recorded in a city with several firework displays nearby. Reverberation from buildings is quite noticeable. Recorded by a wileyfox storm.

Made in ableton live. Layered together out of various explosions sounds and a kick drum. One sound layer ran through a guitar amp for distortion. Low-fi-ish.

New-years fireworks in the distance as heard from a place. Almost isolated safe for a car that drove by twice and one of my rabbits squeaking a few times. Individual bits might even pass for war-time atmosphere.

A semi-automatic rifle, pitched down 3 semi-tones. Made in bitwig, i used 10 different recorded gunshot layers that have been eq'ed and multiband compressed to form a new gun sound. Subbass was synthesized for the super low end. The process i use is to select frequencies using high pass and lowpass filters from a recording for the lows, mids and highs. This forms a "layered sound".

A compound of other sounds crated for my sci fi sitcom, this was supposed to be the sound of a landing dropship's bay doors opening to let out some over enthusiastic marines. I reckon it could work for a variety of industrial type noises.

Explosion sound created using a zoom h1 and tempering with metal fibers near the mic capsules. Added verb and pop compression for better flexibility. Recorded at 24bit 96khz, down converted to 16 bit wav. Feel free to use this for what ever you need it. Wouldn't mind some credit, thank you. :) stay tuned for more audio effects. This sound was made by popping a cellophane bag and recorded using an m-audio microtrack ii. This sounds really good as a firework or an explosion sound, especially with reverb.

These are a series of gunshots that are supposed to resemble a laser sort of weapon, like an alien weapon. To make this, i used a filter that has a vocoder, polyvox, and talkbox, with distortion added. The initial sound i'm making is a chirping with my mouth and the filter does the rest. I think this works well on its own but it should work well mixed in with another sound effect if you choose to mix it. There is no reverb added or environment effects so its very flexible. Feel free to use it however you like. Credit is appreciated but not necessary. If you do want to give credit, please give credit to cooljunk productions. Thank you.

I took a gunshot, put a little bit of flanger on it and then rolled off the highs of an explosion and layered that underneath. I also added a few other effects to give it that fluttery sound in the end.
