Very clean recording of an ice cream truck outside, playing joplin's "the entertainer". I started and stopped and awkward times since we were in between takes, but if you have sound skills, its easily loopable. While on set in downtown la, an ice cream truck visited our crew. The rest is history. .

January 30, 2014. A major ice storm moves in to the east coast of the united states. Sitting in a small cabin in the woods of north carolina, the sound of ice particles (sleet) hitting a stove-pipe can be heard. It's cold. It's bleak. The power has just cut off. Extended recording of myself stomping around in iced-over snow after a storm. Featured sounds are footprints breaking through ice and crunching in the snow underneath, icicles being scraped across the icy snow surface, and bits of ice being thrown across the ice-covered snow surface and skittering away.

My mother in the kitchen just around the corner from my closed bedroom door getting some ice from a square ice bucket in the freezer which is right at the entrance to the kitchen. You can hear them drop into her big glass and pop when they hit the water. I was recording out the window at the time. You can hear an american robin, red cardenal and mourning dove as well.

This is a funny recording of an ice-cream van outside my house. He parked in the middle of the road and you can hear other drivers beeping. He finally turns off the music and drives away.
