Once on the roof we hear a turbine vent squeaking and an aircraft flying overhead, as police sirens pass by. Sitting in a small cabin in the woods of north carolina, the sound of ice particles (sleet) hitting a stove-pipe can be heard. It's cold. It's bleak. The power has just cut off.
