4ch-surround, wide angle field recording of the seaside at warnemünde on the german baltic riviera. Recording was conducted in october 2013 on a hotel balcony approx. 100m away from and 20m above the shoreline. Recorded with a zoom h2, these are the rear channels, mics set to 120° dispersion.

This sound is entirely made with audacity, i played with the noised and reverberation on several tracks, then i shifted the tracks to create a come and go effect. I also reduced the volume on some parts of the tracks. This sound remind me of a windy weather near the ocean.

This clip was recorded in august 2021 during the evening in a platform near the beach in le grazie, la spezia, italy. You can hear the sounds of the waves clashing with the platform, the people walking around, cicadas in the distance and also the sound of the boats navigating into the port. It was recorded with a zoom h1n (96khz /24bit). The sound was no post-processed.

Recorded at hammonasset state park in connecticut in a rocky section of the beach. Waves hitting boulders of various sizes causes sloshing and splashing sounds. Recorded with a tascam dr-05 using a fur windscreen. Some noise removal in audacity (to remove noise from a plane that briefly passed by).
