Recorded this on a sunny evening at the cote d'azur, near toulon. Two iphones approx 4 meteres apart (it was all that i had). Syncronized and merged to a stereo-wave in reaper. The moderate waves move the stones of the beach and create an awesome sound. It was practically windstill, so i did not use a lowcut. Enjoy and tell me if you use it! that would be awesome.

George, staten island, new york city, new york, usa on a zoom h4npro recorder with on-board x-y microphone, aimed downward at the barges from an elevated position.

This is a recording from clearwater beach, florida, usa, made on november 07, 2014, from the gulf of mexico on a windy day, just before the tide came in. I made this recording while standing in the sea, where the waves were at about waste height. This was produced with a zoom h6 recorder and it's x/y microphone module.

5. 1 surround close range field recording of the beach at étretat, a seaside resort in the normandy region of france. The recorder is about 2m away from the surf, the sea is very choppy with heavy waves washing over the pebbles on the beach. Recorded with a zoom h2n and matrixed to 5. 1 surround.

This clip was recorded in august 2021 during the evening in a platform near the beach in le grazie, la spezia, italy. You can hear the sounds of the waves clashing with the platform, the people walking around, cicadas in the distance and also the sound of the boats navigating into the port. It was recorded with a zoom h1n (96khz /24bit). The sound was no post-processed.

This sound is entirely made with audacity, i played with the noised and reverberation on several tracks, then i shifted the tracks to create a come and go effect. I also reduced the volume on some parts of the tracks. This sound remind me of a windy weather near the ocean.

I'm back with another binaural. I am attempting to capture the sounds that remind me of the places i have visited. This is a recording of fuertaventura, in the canary islands, on a pebble beach the morning after a big wave swell. The rocks being moved by the sea are at least as big as footballs, and the waves are 8-12ft. I upgraded my binaural mics to roland cs-10em from my homemade ones. I'm happy if you can notice the difference. I like that they are combined mics and earphones with little windbooms. Files are recorded in:24-bit 96khz. Wav.
