This is a percussion beats made at tempo 124. It spans 8 bars and is ready to be looped in your daw. This is a sound i've found in my old foxdot projects, it has a really cool "ocean" or "wave" noise-like sound that repeats at the right then left of stereo, in the end of each 4-bar segement. It layers multiple kicks and snares, with one of the sounds being stretched, that produce this "wave" sound. It can be evaluated in foxdot with the following code to replicate this result. Recorded on the san francisco side of alcatraz island, 08/25/2015. Recorder was placed on the railing on the back side of the yard above the staircase. A clear day, with plenty of water birds and gulls. Some tourists speaking various languages throughout. . . Some asking about the 'microphone'. This recording also catches the sf noon siren and a sea plane flying toward the end. My windjammer wasn't quite enough for the wind, so there's some rumble, but it can be cleaned up. Glitch sfx #1. Modify/use however you want. I made this by playing a couple sine waves on different notes, then i added a fruity waveshaper to add harmonics whenever one of the sine waves clips, then filtered out the original sine waves, leaving you with the distorted harmonics you have here. A quick snap of a medium sized canvas drop cloth.

A technical problem i had with my technics stereo cassette desk rs-5 where playback would deliver this fading squarewave at maximum volume. Apparently, it could have been an issue with the tape header wearing out. Thought i might as well upload it here, as i'm not sure anyone will be able to create this sound again. Note, this sound was de-amplifiied by 10 db in audacity 3. 1. 3. Simply put, the raw file was incredibly loud. If you're curious enough, you can increase it back up to its original volume, though i wouldn't advise it.
