I recorded my raw kick drum with a shure vocal mic and then gave it a bass boost using audacity. Not too bad considering the equipment used. It is a kick drum 22" with an evans emad 2 head, a pillow inside, and a medium quality pdp drumset.

It is the sound of a ceramic plate and a ceramic plant pot against a stone floor. Useful to simulate moving rocks sound.
