Just me punching a wooden door. Recorded with sony hdr-pj260v then edited with audacity.

Needed a clean punching sound, i couldn't find one so i thought i'd share what i made. I made the sound with my mouth. . . Used audacity to clean the noise and remove my stupid breathing.

Same devolpment as 'big punch with whoosh' took me a while using my new sound design plugins and new sounds that i recorded. This punch is smaller and quicker.

A classic movie punch sound recreated by hitting a leather car seat with a cricket bat. Recorded using a rode k2 tube mic and a schoeps cmc6, driving the preamps hard and compressing the input, then heavily compressing a number of takes using analog-emulation plugins (including a fairchild 660) and running the mix through waves maxxbass. Then limiting some more and finally adding the swoosh of a riding crop and a non-linear reverb noise tail.

Equalizing used to get rid of noise and harsh frequencies and maximizer use to make sound audible. Recorded on 3 jan 2012.
