I have a lot of old hard drives, some of which are still working and others are damaged. My project is collect the sounds produced during start-up. To do this i use a digital recorder zoom h4n using the two incorporated microphones and two 'diy'ed contact microphones additionally. I created a first rhythm track -> tempo 110. 0 bpm, beat of bar 3then a second pluck track in 60 midi pluck height and a steep fadei repeated the first track, driving the sound very low to give more rhythm to the sound.
