Wild parrots started flying in and landing on the trees along mission bay in san diego on a cool, cloudy day. I walk around and catch some individuals and groups. Sometimes they fly overhead. I did my best to minimize footstep sounds and wind noise. Mostly, i did a good job of that. No. 2 at about 2:35 there's a nice group after a long silence, so don't quit beforehand. The stereo mics add to the liveliness of the sounds.

Description of collection :dji mavic mini 2 sounds. Recorded on a zoom h5 stock xy mic. No editing not even normalizing, just chopped up segments in audacity. I apologise some recordings may have footsteps sounds, and remote blips (maybe the latter is good and more authentic). Mic may have been places either pointing left-right, or up-down, or both pointing up. Microphone wasn't on the floor, but set on a bench. Recorded indoor. Heard some cows across my street mooing at each other. They sounded sad and/or upset. Recorded on the zoom h4n. Edited in reaper to remove dead air/movement/excessive wind and eq'd some of the high frequency noise out.
