Sound design i made for a video game,layered a bunch of sounds and processed them to make and impactful laser beam sound effect.

This ambience sounds uncanny and rather other-worldly, like it was recorded in some unknown alien planet. Perfect for setting up creepy and intense moments in any of your horror media.

Space vehicle chase with sirens in scifi city. Imposcar & keysalpha2 patches, layered. Glideeffect in impocar used for pitching. The keysalpha (police sirens in the distance) is pitch-modulated with a fast lfo, and you'll find a fat chorus-effect there, an internal synth effect.

Still random frequency transformed with plugins. This time it's a saw waveform moduled by a sine lfo. Add a little of this and a little of that. Make me thing at a the sound of the rain on a strange planet!.

A gregorian chant melody line with arpeggiated harmony played from digital keyboard into a music maker midi recording. I gave it a whirl with a vst synthesizer voice called men's cathedral, twirled lots of dials and this came out.

Intended for game creation: sounds of bigger and smaller spaceships and other noises very common in airless space. How i made them:. Rubbing different things on different surfaces in front of 2 x akg c1000s, then processing them with the free kjearhus plugins and some guitaramp simulators.

These are a series of gunshots that are supposed to resemble a laser sort of weapon, like an alien weapon. To make this, i used a filter that has a vocoder, polyvox, and talkbox, with distortion added. The initial sound i'm making is a chirping with my mouth and the filter does the rest. I think this works well on its own but it should work well mixed in with another sound effect if you choose to mix it. There is no reverb added or environment effects so its very flexible. I was wondering how to make a glitch soynd since i was downloading a lot of that. Ended up making this beat type thing. ( needs compression). I recorded my self saying "how the f%%k do i make a glitch sound!?" i reversed the f word for censorship. Then it use the mix modulation function in caustic's modular synth to modulate it with a 909 beat & a 8bit synth sound.
