Upright bass flavor.

Two measures of squelchy acid bass with piercing synth chords. Created in lmms, further effects applied in audacity with valhalla supermassive. 140 bpm, a flat hungarian minor.

I used a plug-in called harmor on fl studio 11 and i messed around with highpass and lowpass filters with a very wide resonance. Of corse you can use this ''thing'' for whatever you want because it's totally unoriginal and easy to make.

Feedback from messing around with a cloned circuit of the tr-808 bass drum. If decay is extended too far, the circuit gets stuck in a feedback loop and produces awesome deep-bass analogue sine waves.

Bass effect from russian synth named polivoks.

I recorded this sound back in 2002. Made putting the mic into a garage can with wheels and rolling it around.

I designed this sound from scratch using a 20 millisecond pop of audio looped and processed heavily using ableton live's sampler instrument. The loop is 2 bars long, but it this sample file i trail off for quite a few seconds sustaining the note to show off the sustain processing on the synth.

I like to put special attention into not only the sounds and rhythms used in my work, but also the shape of the tracks itself when looked at in an audio editor. I enjoy working with dc-offsetted sounds, as i believe that, although there is not much of a difference when listened to, they must be picked up differently somehow by the brain.

Double bass bowed harmonics. Bass played by houston guy, recorded with a shure ksm44, 24bit mono. I was producing a song and asked mr. Guy to give me some noisy strangness just to layer in for texture and he performed admirably.
