Dark bass sound made with the following modules as main actors dinsync modseq, doepfer a-124 special edition, uoki-toki polivoks vcf, intellijel μvcf and synthrotek dirt. I'm exploring my filters and try to use them in different ways.
I want to incorporate this into my next song. Hopefully it will work at around 98 bpm. This one is not filtered compared to the one that has "deeper" in the title. More noise in this here version.
Stereo recording of a short scratch bass. Loundge style. I used fruity loops software for this sound. I put an effect of piano roll, an acoustic guitar, an fx scratch, the hip kick for the bass with an other bass effect.

This standup bass was sampled using a direct pickup as well as stereo overhead mics for some room ambience. Articulations include a normal pizzicato, or finger plucked note; a stopped note as performed with the finger; a stopped note performed bartok style; and some miscellaneous sound effects: a slide by the hand down the strings, a slap on the strings, and a knock on the wooden body of the bass. A short sample of a bass loop created on my korg kaosillator, recorded to cassette tape and transferred to my computer with some processing to go along with it. A fair amount of hiss, lo-fi in nature.
