I dragged a desk in one of the classrooms at my high school to produce a dragging sound. Metal on carpet. The sound at the end is the desk bumping against another desk.
A wide variety of twanging sounds made by plucking the edge of a ruler held against a flat desktop. Includes some interesting rising and falling glissando effects created by moving the ruler while it is vibrating.
