Made sometime during 2017. Excerpts from my experiments with sinusoidal waves, homemade distortion effects, digital reverb, room reverb, and speaker->mic->pc feedback. Several effect parameters are controlled via an ekg setup called the "infernal gadget" which i constructed between 2010-2011 and used for several improvised music sessions.

I recorded the weird sound coming from a street underground box/pipe pumping water nearby my place. Not sure how to explain it in english. Recorded with a tascam dr40 48/24.

A strange fx, almost like a robot or a machine.

A sequence of percussive cd skipping noises made in to a techno glitchcore rhythm. This is a hard rhythm not micro-beats. There is a splash of synth in there and possibly a key change.

Some weird and creepy bass made using the clicky bit synth in bandlab.

This just sounds like an elephant or something else trumpeting over and over.

I recorded my voice and added some reverb to it then reversed it for a chilling effect.

This is a creepy sound i created by loading few megabytes of /dev/urandom to audacity as gsm 6. 10 raw data. I also added some wahwah and slowdown to make it sound even more weird.

A very low-pitch xylophone from the lmms daw, with reverb, initially i was attempting to emulate footsteps, but it turned out to be somewhat sinister and eerie instead.

My headphones started to screw themselves over while i was going for a walk with them and it started pouring in the middle of my walk. Which made my headphones pretty much unusable and it seemed to make this strange static noise even when turned off. It was actually kinda creepy but i did realise that this would make for a good sound for a videogame or movie that needs static of some kind. It's just too bad my headphones don't work anymore. Feel free to use this sound however you may please, you don't even have to credit me. It would be appreciated if you did though!.

Artistic interpretation of what a windy day could sound like on a different planet.

I won't claim that this is a ghost as i am sure many would debunk, only that i believe it to be. This is an evp i found during playback for something else i recorded in audacity with a usb condenser mic. This happens a lot and i have quite a few. It sounds to me like a voice that is not mine is saying "watch" i cleaned it up as much as i could but this was barely audible originally so i had to bring up the volume a lot which made the noise floor pretty loud. I did some noise reduction to make it sound cleaner. I have personally had experiences that i believe to be supernatural but decide for yourself as you listen or use it as make believe. I have more i will upload when i can including ones from places that have been researched and said to be haunted (taken on my phone). I have to find them but as i come across them or new ones i will share. No need to credit me, i am just sharing this for fun. It creeps me out, and gives me chills so hopefully it does the same for you mwuah hahahahaha! enjoy ;). Rumble or drone like sound. I call it hypnotic cause i associate it with the feeling of being dizzy.

So when i launched audacity within gentoo linux, a strange ground loop occurred. However, adjusting the volume settings within alsamixer caused the ground loop to become different per volume settings. The higher the volume, the less noise is produced; the lower the volume, the more noise is produced. I hereby proclaim this into the public domain, no restrictions! have fun, y'all!.
