Warm white noise-ish machinery hum normalized to -2db. Slightly less than 12 seconds, with short fade in and out. No rights reserved. All wrongs reversed. Boost no ills.

Short sample of an overhead fluorescent tube light in my basement with some low white noise. Loops seamlessly. Recorded with a roland edirol r-09hr and edited in audacity. If you use this sample, please tell me what you did with it below! links are nice too.
Real electrical hum, lifted from the beginning of a public domain film before the action started. Like the kind of hum you get when there is a short circuit or ungrounded wire. With a little bit of authentic static thrown in.
A recording made in the middle of a small lake, facing towards the city. Mostly distant traffic noise with a great big natural reverb. Recorded with a zoom h1. Some hiss removed afterwards.
This is a low hum sound generated by my naturalnoisegen program. Naturalnoisegen uses several timed generators to produce complex natural noises. In this case, 500 very low frequency generators with a long period were used.
Stereo recording of an air-conditioning unit outside an apartment window, recorded with zoom h4n on-board stereo mics. Please let me know what you think! constructive criticism is especially welcome!.
This is an old sample that i recorded a while ago. Not sure where it came from but i think it might be a sewing machine, or some piece of industrial equipment.
A scifi energy blade hum sound. Made in audacity, based off of a distorted digiridoo sound, extended and added some basic wahwah for effect.
