A kick i created somewhere between 2012-2014. It belongs to a pack "harha's hardstyle kicks" and i don't have the interest to describe every kick in this pack separately. For pitching the bass part / tail up and down, i suggest using cool edit pro or adobe audition. Cubase pitching/timestretch algorithms are quite nice as well.
A "singing bowl" from nepal, played with a contrabass bow. Recorded with a neumann 184 cardioid and a focusrite scarlett, for a project in the percussion room of my university, so may have background noise. The resonance may be cut. Feel totally free to use!.
For this sample, i have to use a stereo recording. Drum and bass stylei put an effect to melt in closure, and an effect to change the height (-70. 000, pitch from d to f), and an other effect to change the height (+ 12. 575, pitch from d to e).
Synthesizer-kickdrum in several variations. If u like this, perhaps u also like my tunes on sc: http://soundcloud. Com/beverlyhillsboy check it out! cheers :).

Small, six note marimba, recorded wide stereo with a sony pcm-d50. The notes are, from low to high, f, g, a, c#, d#, and f. Two samples were taken per note.
This is part of the jack daniels sample pack - a small analog synth (alesis sr-12ssa) triggered by real drums played by jack daniels. Yamaha oak 13" snare triggering the synth.
My sax player friend played a few things for me and so i sampled parts of them (fairly long parts) to share. Used a sm57 about 3 inches away from the barrel.
Kelon xylophone recorded with single neumann u-87. Very bright with sharp attack (as kelon tends to be). Cuts through a track like a hot knife through chocolate.
Percussion kit sampled in my studio. 3 - 5 dynamic range shots (pp, p, pf, f, ff, fff). Recorded with two sm57 (up and down), overheads crosstalk - se3.
This is the sound of an lrad (long range acoustic device). I managed to create this sound with a basic sample from nch tone generator and a few days of processing in goldwave.
