A recording using a contact mic into my roland r26 field recorder, it was a windy day so you could hear the wind hitting the bridge and the water rushing underneath. I placed the mic on a metal bolt for a solid contact.

On new year's, 2000, when the world didn't end, a group of friends was in a log cabin near peterborough, on, canada, and performed this improvised symphony on a collection of percussion toys and wineglasses. Recorded on minidisk, but unfortunately one channel was lost so it's in mono.

I was surprised that this came out so well, an awesome water-down-the-drain sound in my very own kitchen sink. A plastic dishpan was tipped and held there until the water exited. Quite a roar, unmodified except that it is contained in the dish washing file.
