I live in the top floor of an apartment. This apartment is situated on the same level, about 7 meters away from the church bell tower. Over the years i've come to really loathe this sound beyond what i can put into human words, so i made a distorted edit of them. Enjoy!.

Recorded with a zoom h1 n. Waves lap gently against the sand shore, absorbed by tons of freshly strewn kelp. It is near a tide turn, so the wave action is relatively gentle. The sounds are more like lapping, and not crashing. It is a very gentle sound.

I tried to import a raw, pcm audio sample into audacity and it came out like this. It was alot worse when it was imported, right now this is about as audibly palatable as i could get it to. This is still loud, so turn your speakers down a little bit before playing.

Went to målsjön in kristdala, sweden. I was surprised by bird life so early in the year. It's mainly the song tunes that are heard but also other birds like mallards, nuthatch and maybe willow tit and many more. Equipment usedrecorder zoom f4microphones two line audio cm3.

Me squeezing a crumpled bag of doritos, recorded with an sm57 going into an m-audio mobilepre usb audio interface. I recorded this because i needed a good rubber stretching sound, but couldn't find one that looped well. When i crumpled the bag up to throw it away, i realized it kind of sounds like what i wanted, and with some eqing and clever layering i could get a sound that's pretty close to what i wanted. I've uploaded the final result under my "processed sounds" pack, but here are the raw sounds for you to use, completely unprocessed. I've left some silence/noise at the beginning/end of these so that you can easily remove the noise if you so choose.

This ambience was recorded on zoom h6 with msh-6 mid-side stereo mic capsule. Recording was edited and decoded. Mic was positioned right in a frame of an open window so that it won't get flood from a heavy rain and pick up much room reflections. My flat where i recorded from was on 4th floor. There was a busy street 50m far from the apartment building itself, a bit further there was a park. Rain at that night was heavy. Also you can hear several heavy thunder hits of various distance throughout the whole recording. Hope this recording will help to enhance the sound of your next project. This sound is completely analog. I recorded the sound of a person who was walking on the street. I chose to leave the noise of the street so that we understand that the person walks outside. I used the effect "amplification" to reduce the noise of the street and increase the sound of step. I made a fade in opening and closing, so that we have the impression that the steps are moving towards us then moves away. At the same time, i played with the pitch of the sound to accentuate this effect. My small dog was running around outside and got pretty hot. When i brought her in, she began lapping up water at a fast pace. She's also a little sniffly so it got some nice sniffle noises in there too. I feel like this could work well for plenty of different character shots, from a monster, to a comedy-type shot of someone eating something like noodles, to a dog drinking water in an animation. I needed a sound of someone falling down some stairs, so i grabbed a pelican case (took the camera out of it of course) and dropped it down the stairs a few times while my mate was holding a zoom recorder at the bottom. At one point the case hit my friend in the leg, but don't worry, he is ok.

I'm making a spooky scary video game and needed a "behind you" whisper to play over the shoulder of the player. Didn't find anything so i made it myself by recording several whispers of "behind you" and then applying effects in audacity. Hope this helps someone. Go ahead and use this for whatever. The beach at aldeburgh is made of pebbles so you can hear little of that as i walk around. You can the crashing of the waves against the pebbles and that fizzing noise as the sound dies down and the water recedes from the beach. This was recorded using a zoom h2n in 16-bit. Wav format.
