This is a very quick and dirty lo-fi recording of a very unsettling noise i am currently hearing outside of my 2nd story bedroom window. I have no clue what it could be. I have lived here for over a decade and never heard this sound. It's like wind, but it keeps fading in and disappearing again. When it starts, it sounding like very rapid, almost whistling, shallow breathing. I can't imagine what is making this sound, but it's pretty unnerving, and i'm too creeped out to open the curtains. I'm hoping someone can recognize this and tell me what this is because i'm starting to get very uncomfortable after about 10 minutes of hearing this on and off again. I am attempting to record it as it happens, so i've got several recorded instances of this if you want to hear more of it.

Warning: this sound is just a little loud. A spooky noise i made for a map for garry's mod. You might be able to deduce that i'm making a horror map. If you want more freaky noises like these, (i may question your sanity) but i'll make one for ya. ;).

I was exporting a graphic in adobe after effects and the export had errors and came up with this sound. Thought it was pretty cool.

Recorded using mixcraft 6 and a shure ush mic. I growled while inhaling and made funny sounds. I added effects and duplicated the track. One was pitched high the other low.

This is a (-nother) synthetic soundscape i did some years ago, reminiscent of a wide, enclosed, dark cavern, very good for subtly underlaying film scenes playing in appropriate locations. Originally, it is a recording of me blowing on a beer-bottle, captured by a sennheiser condenser mic, and then receiving some attention by the yamaha multi-effects generator in my university back then. I still like and use it a lot today.

I made this effect for my song but i thought it would be nice to share it with you. C:.

Nice to the ears.

This jump scare sound was created by playing 2 dissonant chords on a single coil telecaster mic'd up w/ a vox ac 10 amp. The two guitar tracks are panned left and right- reverb and delay are added. Additionally, frequency enhancers were added between 4khz - 6khz which adds a higher tonal energy in the upper range of the guitar. Gain is added which can be heard as signal noise mostly at the end of the clip. Enjoy. Bainmack.

Kind of a continuation on the "world in chains" theme. Here the ghouls are getting ready to seep out through the cracks in the pavement and pay the world up above a ghoulish visit. Oh and don't forget fungus the bogeyman, my favourite raymond briggs character. Try guessing what modules i used. (hint: all but 3 are from makenoise).

An orchestration of a few synth sounds, placed in a pleasing order. The synths were individually chosen and some were effected. Then the entire wave file was reversed.

My "falltuer samplepack" deals with the mysterious sounds i recorded from the door to the loft of our appartement :o. The recordings are made with a tascam dr-05 in stereo. I added a low- and hipass and some fadeouts to make the sounds more enjoyable but apart from that it's raw.
