Glitch sfx #1. Modify/use however you want. I made this by playing a couple sine waves on different notes, then i added a fruity waveshaper to add harmonics whenever one of the sine waves clips, then filtered out the original sine waves, leaving you with the distorted harmonics you have here. Very complex sound which took a lot of effort to make. Used different techniques to create the punch. The drop was created by creating a body out of pillows sand ect. Layered and used effects.

These are samples from the new korg electribe emx2 music production station not the best recording quality but some nice sounds anyway the weird naming is due to the autoslice function in renoise wich i used to separate the samples from a one shot recording.

Close your eyes and listen to the composition that nature is playing before you. Walk around quietly, with nothing interrupting your ears. Go out and record some sounds wihtout labeling them, then bring them back and try to identify every sound you hear on playback. It's tough, but it's a good way to train your ears. I accidentally made this in audacity while messing around with a synth i recorded.

I recorded a pretty gnarly storm on 8/25 around 1:30 am. The cars are off the road but you still get that city reflection. I placed two rode nt5s in my living room windows and set them to record for about nine minutes. It wouldn't be great for an outdoor situation but it's a good "thunderstorm from an apartment in the city" recording. It's in 16 44. 1, stereo. Use it for whatever you want, no credit needed. -jp.

Every now and then i get on reaktor and jam out a load of abstract weirdness to cut up and be used or further processed, i am uploading some of the raw, continuous files for you to do the same. They tend to be kinda aggressive, but not always and not unusably so (in a commercial sense).

While attempting to create a sick ass dubstep wob noise in rob papen's albino synth plugin, i managed to stumble across a telephone-like sound while pitching the filter cutoff on a weird shaped wave oscillator. I then put down the dubstep tune, and exported the noise with a gradual huge reverb at the end just for fun. I hope you enjoy it and i'd love to hear if someone uses it and in what context!. Tuned percussive sounddesign, made with a synth, a big reverb, an eq and a guitar amp. It is a bit more agressive than the previous one. You can use it for filmscore music, ambient. . .

Rain wind and thunder : rain with heavy thunderstorm outside a shop (or coffee shop or house or tent) with raindrops on the rooftop or the canopy being mildly sharply audible. Gradually thunder and wind stop towards the end of the sample. Synthesized using noise oscillators (white, color and band) in thor in propellerheads reason.

A recording i took on 04/26/2014, presumably on cassette tape, of an art installation in madison, wi titled "asylum," created by marina kelly and megan katz. To my knowledge, this is the only audio recording that exists of the soundscape, though if asked by kelly or katz i will respectfully take it down. "asylum" was a temporary art installation located in the tenney park passageway under east johnson street. From what i saw when i was there, it was just a speaker or two playing some ambient sounds. These sounds could have been generated based on environmental input, but due to lack of evidence i can't conclusively say that was indeed the case. I was in a bad mood on this recording so apologies for the negativity/language.
