This is a loop i created for an upcoming production of king lear. Played live by me on the roland td7 electronic drum kit, and recorded directly into cubase on 3-1-07.

One morning in provence, with birds, little bit of wind and a chainsaw far. Rec ab with two lewitt lct 040 / mixpre 3.

14 variations of the same tone sequences. Each effect is 1/3 seconds. Key of c, 140bpm. Made in lmms via triple oscillator.

Recorded at 7:36 pm with a sound devices mix pre-3 and an audio-technica bp4025 microphone (with a rode blimp windshield). Sounds heard include wind, insects, and rustling leaves.

For this sound, i generated a sine wave at a frequency of 440 hz, an amplitude of 0. 80 and a duration of 1 second. I choosed the following effects:1- tremolo2- repeat (x2)3- fade in (half of the sounds)4- fade out (the other half of the sounds)5 -studio fade out6- cut a part7- repeat8- cut to have the song 3 times. After all this effects, the sound is like an alarm.
