Little snippet of a dance performed for tourists in swaziland. Annoying whistle, but there's a small portion further in where it shuts up for a bit. :).
I recorded my microwave button beeps, and a couple pieces of electronics beeping, as well as their cooling fans and small cd drive and servo motors starting and running. 24 bit, 48 khz mono.
I used the sound of a brush scraping as the source, added the sound you get when you twist a russian doll (already convolved with itself), and this was the result. To me it sounds a little bit like wind.
This is a recording i done outside my house in kedington, suffolk. Its a first attempt at field recordings. . . . The wind is a bit of a pain in the ass though!! but i dont have anything to stop it.
From a bench in the main hall of the central station in copenhagen. Announcements and people passing suitcases rolling bicycles. . . Recorded with tascam dr-10048000 hz stereo, 16-bit wave pcm uncompressed.
Bell noise made by placing a salt/pepper shaker's metallic lid on a piece of paper and pushing it into backwash guard on my granite counter top. Recorded with tascam dr-07 mkii handheld device at 16-bit 44. 1khz.
It's a recording of a large passenger aeroplane with jet-engines passing by above my head. Recorded with hand-held zoom h2. Originally a 24-bit 96khz wav file. Normalized, truncated and converted to flac using audacity.

A recording made on a walk to jokhang temple in lhasa in june 2004, using a sharp minidisc recorder and a sony stereo microphone. Sound has been modified to highlight the rhythm of my feet on the pavement (a bit more echo than on mix 5).
A bunch of garbage (soda cans, beer bottles, chip bags, styrofoam container, etc. ) on top of a bed/blanket, then gets tossed onto the floor. Includes body movement, resetting of props and retakes. Stereo. 24 bit. 48 khz. Low cut applied.
Happy accident: recorded a finger snap on a asus t100's internal laptop as a test sound, applied (heavy leveller, normalization)*10 and this came out. Sounds like a fine punch/damage sound on speakers, maybe for a 8-bit game.
An sfx for games or film where i grabbed an old book, opened it, broswed it a bit and closed it. It can be edited for a longer or shorter sequence as the track is well separated.
Two chords and a 3 note melody processed in music maker's cinematic synt. This version is a string ensemble voice, a bit lighter than the others but moody.
This is the sound of a drill rig operating in a fracking field near tioga, north dakota. I believe a large electric motor is spinning the drill bit. You can hear it shut down near the end of this short sound file.
It's co2-saturated water being jettisoned out of a bottle into a glass. Captured with zoom h2 to 96khz / 24-bit pcm, cleaned up in audacity using denoise, editing and spectral delete and encoded to flac. Enjoy!.
Amateur fl studio crazy music by groovy trips-01 (24bit-wav). Just a bunch of miscellaneous notes sandwiched between a beat. I don't know what i'm doing, just having fun creating a mess.
Samples from my behringer rd-6 sr analog drum machine, which is a clone of the legendary roland tr-606. Bd, sd, clap, chh, ohh, cymbal, lt, ht. Format: wav, 24 bit, normalized. Recorded with a behringer umc 404 hd.

I went on a trip down to sydney back in april and decided to record a bit. Its mainly just people chattering and the hum of the train in the background. Recorded on the 18/04/2019 on a h4n pro.

I honestly don't know what to call this effect because i had no idea what is it called. This was a bit similar to that hallelujah effect though. Feel free to use it. Created in 3ml editor and edited it in audacity.
(higher pitch and relatively different in terms of character than the original) based upon my "single gunshot. Wav" sfx, this experiments a bit with the effects of stereo audio. I made the sound quite punchy also. Created with audacity. Use however you see fit.
Basic four on the floor drum loop made with caustic 3. 140 bpm, 4 bars, 44100hz 16 bit. Processed with compression on the kick and mix compression and eq on the master in ardour and ready to go. Very straight forward.
44100hz, 16-bit, stereo. Wav sample for play and view in stereoscope. On spectroscope the sample displays animation of rotating alarm-clock. Sample done by programming position of samples. Programming done in amos amiga basic on unix amiga emulator uae.
Sound of a ceramic cup breaking after being dropped from a height of about 1 metre onto a tiled kitchen floor. Recorded with zoom h2 in 16-bit/44. 1 khz.
Background noise of a busy spot of a brazilian city (porto alegre). Chatter, bus noises, cars breaking and passing through in the background. This one has a little bit more chattering than the other 2 in the pack.

This sound consists of sine waves only playing the musical note c, each for a total of 10 seconds. Rendered as a 200/32 wav file (linear pcm, 32 bit little-endian floating point, 200000 hz) in audacity.
These are taken from my modded behringer bg412s from 2004. I know this is one of the most hated cabs in the world but i gave it 2 celestion vintage 30s. The top speakers are in an angle to the outside. . . So you get something different. It really is a awesome heavy plywood cab. . . No chipwood crap. The irs are mix ready and should deliver a brutal sound. Even: mix ready universal full sound sm57balls: a bit more whoosh sm57brutal: a bit more scooped sm57bruzl: evil black metal shred pyle pdmic75. Have fun!.
It's a part of my pack "sickness". Sounds i recorded while being sick. I got a virus infection resulting in elevated body temperature, lack of strength, cough, running nose and sneezing. Check the title for what is in this particular recording. Recorded with zoom h2 on a mic-stand @ 96khz/24-bit. All the sounds in this pack are raw (unprocessed) they were truncated and converted to flac (both using audacity) but not normalized, with original 24-bit precision - turn them up as you need, denoise if you have to, cut out what you want. Enjoy my pain ;-).
Did this little bit in garageband for something called victors crypt. A short bit of music that makes me imagine people dancing in hells fire. I think this would work perfect to pods, games, movies, youtube-channels or anything you can imagine. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool, subscribe to and watch victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. Throw horns, dance & hail satan!.
Recorded on 20. 05. 2020 on schneealpe in styria, austria. Its funny - and a bit scary - that one can see the exact crevice the recording took place from a satellite. There was a bit of snow left from winter but rapidly melting. Drops fall from 30 cm to the rock below in different rhythms. Recorded with 2 km184 ab ~40cm apart into sounddevices 744. Unfortunately i had no proper windscreen and so there is quite some rumble up to 120hz. The rumble can be filtered out easily, but i left the recording as is (i normalized and converted from 96k to 48k in audacity).
A bit i made in garageband for something called victors crypt. I think this can be suited for something a bit sci-fi with a creepy touch. The synth-sound make me think of the space and monsters. . . . And death. . . . And virus. . . Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. Throw horns, dance & hail satan!.
Here are some recordings of some of my basic woodwork tools. I'll try and get better recordings in the future but i share a workshop and it is rarely quiet enough to get good recordings. All recordings are me working on a piece of 25mm thick walnut timber. Listening back has made me realise that all of these tools need sharpening!! :). The recordings are as follows:. 00:00 - 00:26stanley block plane fine shaving the edge of the timber. 00:28 - 01:33stanley 5m retractable tape measure, metal blade and plastic casing. Tape being wound out and drawn back in. 01:36 - 03:30milwaukee m12 battery drill. Trigger being pressed, chuck opening and closing and bits being changed. Drilling into timber. Driving screws into the timber and removing them again. 03:32 - 05:14lie nielsen crosscut tenon saw cutting across the grain of the timber. 05:17 - endgeneral purpose wood saw 'ripping' along the grain of the timber. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. If any of these sounds have been of help, and you are feeling charitable, please do consider donating to freesound to help keep the site running (a link is also on the home page). --made in ableton live--. Crackling sounds made with ableton bit crush. Might be good to add that vinyl sound to a lo-fi track. If this sound interests you, please comment or message me if you want more like it!. Thanks for reading!.
It's a supermarket that is a five / ten-minute walk from my house. Although it was a bit crowded, the atmosphere remained very quiet. The file is loopable, recorded with olympus ls-p4 onboard microphones.
Peaceful and a bit stressful 4bar loop inspired by lena raine productions for celeste. Only synths, no samples. Let me know if you like it and need more parts, i can upload more on this mood/style, it will still be public domain.
Recording off a dock at a cottage near kawartha lakes, can hear a loon off in the distance, and a woodpecker even further out. Recorded with a zoom f6, 2 x rode nt55s set to cardioid, ortf stereo recording24 bit, 96 khz.
For sound effect, or a bit of rhythm. I happened to record this sound without knowing after i had done some field recordings. I hope low frequency sounds abundantly on your devices. My small speakers don't. Recorded with at825 and fr-2.
