I was looking for the sound of a hot engine clicking and found just one with lots of background noises. So i decided to build it from scratch in bitwig studio and this is it. The sound starts with fast clicking slowing down. It's not perfect, you can still hear it's made from samples. But as the sound is normally used at low volume, i think i can get away with it. Feel free to add a gate and shape it even further. I may upload an updated version later.

This sound was taken with zoom h4n recorder. Location: meylan, france, in the alps. The town is situated near a 300. 000 inhabitants city, in a valley surrounded by moutains. Description : rain is pouring louder and louder, rolling thunder strikes periodically, exploding like a gunshot or echoing from one moutain to another. (i'm afraid at one point, the sound of a music from a video game played by neighboors was recorded, but apart from these few seconds, this sound is cool ;))hope you'll find it helpful.

Since i have recently found and love this site, i figure it's about time i upload something. I have been making some meditation and relaxing music and made this thing! this was made on ableton with an instrument rack. It's a basic chord progression with a drone note. I drove my car into a wall; and recorded the proximity alert from it. I then washed it through audacity; slowed it 23%; and trimmed the edges. The result? -chilling. A few indistinct gulps cool the atmosphere a little more. It's not the making of a corpse - but it sounds a bit like it?. Recorded late at night in my car by my home with the engine off in fog - so the sound is 'hollowed' by the atmosphere. Recorded using a sennheiser mke300 'shotgun' mic. Cropped in audacity; and saved as aif file. What a chilling way to go. . . ?.

It was raining one night so i used a sony px720 digital voice recorder to catch some hopefully cool atmospheric type sounds. I placed the recorder next to my apartment window and stepped away for a few minutes. My window is situated right next to a rain-gutter so you hear the rain hitting the pavement along with the rain flowing down the gutter. You also hear four different cars drive by during the recording. Well that's about it hopefully these sounds are of some use to people.
