I've been looking for a similar effect for quite a few years and no one has built one. So, using a simple synth and bass drop worked wonders for what i needed. The sound effect is from the matrix and is the sound heard near the beginning when the police are attempting to arrest trinity, just before the agents get upstairs. When trinity jumps, this is that effect. My original concoction.

Edit i've made in which there's a couple of gunshots, stinger and hit for impact and a few lingering ringing and swish effects. There's also a heartbeat and a half. May be useful to someone.

This was originally a friend's cat meowing but it has been processed heavily. First, it was put through a granulizer and the pitch was dropped -2 octaves. The sample was then panned l-r using automation, and bitcrushed. Lastly, to get a slight detuned feel, i added a chorus effect. This sample sounds even better with some convolution or hall reverb but i left this effect out since it's usually a effect users want total control over. The end result is a strange, alien sounding noise.

Inspired from the sniper scene in "saving private ryan,". These are sound recordings of a heavy storm that entered los angeles. A compressor and equalizer was added to emphasize the rain in the gutter. Used to your preference, add rocks, gun loading, battle etc and you'll have an award winning film.
