Self modulating a standard doepfer a-110 vco. We are listening to a square wave. I'm modulating with a sinus. I'm wiggling pwm and the degree of self modulation (and attack and decay). Spring reverb and analog delay from stomp box.

Using nonlinearcircuits sloth lfo (regular version) to control volume, pan an some other stuff. . . Always nice to see/hear chaos in action. Sloth delivers cv and let me play with a ruffly tuned chord that goes thoughan analog delay pedal.

Banjo sampled from an older record, morphed into complete new sound, after adding audio effects, changing pitch, warping, changing eq and cut offs. It has 3 plucks around 96 bpm.

I had a sound design session and at the end i rendered out the whole messy file, ran it through 3 otts, some reverb and delay and basically got an awesome spooky and unsettling atmosphere. Feel free to use it in your projects!.

Ambient music shaped by two sloth lfosmuch reverb! very much. . . . Oh yes, some "ambient noise" toolets call this patch "instant generative ambient patch"one sloth generates triggers. One controls pitch cv. Noise through filter controlled by 2lfosh. And loads of reverb.

This is a chord loop at 74 bpm it bounces back and forth between b minor and a major (key of a major). This sound was recorded using propellerhead reason 7. 1 via a motu 828 mkiii on 7/12/2014 the synth used is my korg polysix. Enjoy.

A sound cue i designed with a euphoria synth pad from garageband on my macbook pro. Track used to underscore a powerful scene between 2 residential school survivors for the theatre production called 'nicimos: the last rez christmas story'. The play ran from nov. 24 to dec. 19, 2014.

This sound was made with 3 lfos, 1 vco and 1 vca. It was decided that the sound should be 30s. It took some tries for me to set the lfo that controlled the vca. The vca controls the output amplitude of the sound.

The sound is going through zoom ms-70cdr. I use the "particer" reverb program. It acts like a compressor and limiter too. . . Kills the dynamics of the modular. Nice anyway - or not. . . And i use the ladik r-330 reverb too.

This was not what i was planning to do. Not at all. But i think this sound was kind of fun. I torment my intellijel μvcf a little. This time i edited the sound a little in audacity (eq, compressor and limiter).

Oh well, i felt like doing a random wobble synth again and putting it over here for free use. Tempo is 133bpm, so just go and cut 'em apart and make a track with them. No credits needed, people :).

This was made by me as a level up sound effect. It can also be used for exciting moments or other important events in videos or video games. It has two tracks, one at a much faster tempo, and the second at a much slower tempo.

In this patch i’m using doepfer a-160 clock divider as a sub bas generator. Square wave out from doepfer a-110 to trig in on a-160. I guess a square wave makes it easier for a-160? /4, in this patch, out to uvcf. The sawtooth from a-110 to another nice filter - the wasp filter. The transient modules 8s sequencer gives us an 8 note sequence. A copy of the sawtooth melody is going to an analog delay stomp box from joyo and back to the synth. The deep, low octave sound effect popularised by eric serra for the goldeneye film score. It is available on the e-mu proteus 2 fx synth module under the patch "infinite". Alternatively, you can make a similar sound by sampling a woodblock/tambourine/cowbell and then pitching it down heavily (with added reverb).

Powerful Stasis by Soft and Furious

I was inspired by urbexshauny's dark atmos, (http://freesound. Org/people/urbexshauny/sounds/367611/) so i threw the excellent "punch" drum synth at it, with a bit of indigo2 virus and a stack of compression everywhere. Bpm is at 90, the loop is from about 5. 10 thru the end.

Using an lfo, mixer, exp vca, envelope generator, cycling envelope generator and spring reverb to create strange sounds. Evaluation of patch/soundone cycle is about 28 sec - cycles. . . Dont knowonly short sounds - goodamplitude variation - goodpitch variation - mediumtimbre variation - mediummusical value - low to mediumentertaining - medium?.

Three looping envelopes 2 on quadra and one pip slope. Forming a minimal rhythm. It's not stable. I make it even more unstable by injecting some cv to one of the envelopes. Maybe i injected a little to much? cool anyway.

Loopable strings loop with a techno mix( empiresboom ). All the sounds are mastered in fl studio. Bpm :110---4/4fl studio 11. Midi recorded by akai mpk mini midi keyboard. Drums recorded by neewer n-700 condensor microphone.

This recording is 5 minutes so there should be some repetitiveness. . . It's a regular sloth. . . I see 48 second cycles but they are not the same. Cool. Chaos.
