This is the sound of a vacuum cleaner shutting off. It can be used for a lot of things: a big robot shutting down, an aircraft landing, a sci-fi weapon shooting, an awesome sfx for some dubstep and so on. It's recorded with my tascam dr-40 field recorder with the highest quality settings possible. I initially made two recordings, i will likely make more later. This is a modern "cheap" recreation doorbell, as they are hard to find these days. I know some people with the genuine article on their home doors however i never get around to recording them. Recording done in theatre.

Hello,. This is the sample pack that i completed for the sound design course at slam academy. The theme of this pack is sounds that could be used to make melancholy and dark sounding music, but use however you see fit. I used ableton’s operator and analog synthesizers and xfer’s serum plugin to create this sounds. All processing was used using ableton’s stock effects and serum’s stock effects.
