I recorded my whistle. I have the ability to make reverse whistling sounds. I just killed background noises in my bedroom using my audio editing program and i added a reverb for that echo in the forest sound.

This is a combination of birds' echoes, songs, and chirps that are made to try to recreate to the best of my ability the soundscape i heard when walking through a park near my house. This was made for a project in the music appreciation elective at loyola high school.

A plastic desk clock ticking away. I placed the microphone realllyyyyy ridiculously close to the clock to try and minimize room-sound, so hopefully this will help someone somewhere! :). Also rendered the sample so it has the ability to loop easily (i think. . . To my ears and a 60bpm grid anyway). Enjoy!.

Decided to test my ability in creating sounds and samples. I recorded my own crap-tastic voice and tuned it via melodyne (highly recommend the program btw). Then threw on some simple reverb and created my own chorus effect as well and placed it on there. Hope you guys enjoy.

An express train of kintetsu railway passes by at rather high speed. Connecting my at835st to a newly purchased edirol r-44. I actually bought it for need of recording four channels of drums sound, but i was completely astonished by its great ability as a field recorder. Wonderful mic preamps, aren't they?.

Bowling alley- the thing with recording a bowling alley is that the pins are so far away. When you’re the one bowling, you’re not really listening to all the chatter around you; in fact your brain does its best to cancel it out (it’s called selective listening, google it), and so you really hear the clamoring of the pins as they crash and fall. Microphones don’t have any such ability; they just take in whatever sound waves reach them, and they don’t care either way about the relative loudness of those sound waves. So what happens in a recording like this is that even though it sounds like any ordinary (busy) bowling alley, the pins sound really far away in relation to the human chatter. It's a fictional replyment for the song 'scarborough fair', it describes a girl has many special power for the man she loves( for the task he gave), but the price( cost) is lose the ability to have children. . . So, she can does everything, but can't be pregnant. The lyric is an example( because my english is poor, so you can change it become better):. She can makes a seamless shirt. She makes it without needle, but she can’t does even simple women make a baby as any mother have done. She can washes in dry well. That’s no water and there’s no rain. But she can’t does even simple women make a baby as any mother have done. She can plows a land with horn. That’s between sea and coastal. But she can’t does even simple women make a baby as any mother have done. The software be used is 'finale 2002', and use 'formatfactory' to change. Mid to. Wav, then use 'audacity' to edit the. Wav file.
