I decided to record my daughter voice saying daddy wake up (baba=daddy), i love her voice, it is better than any other wake up alarm. I liked to share it maybe others can find it useful.

I bought my own fire alarm (i am an enthusiast) on ebay. I went into my garage to record it. And it didn't work. I tinkered with it a little and got it to work. And this is what it sounds like. Feel free to use with no credit.

This sound of alarm clock was entirely made with audacity. First, i generated a sinusoïdal key at 575 hz with an amplitude of 0. 11 during 3 seconds. Then i deselect my track and i generated an other sinusoïdal key at 1500 hz with an amplitude of 0. 33 during 3 seconds too. I deselected the track and i generated a final sinusoïdal key at 2800 hz with an amplitude of 0. 56 during 3 seconds. Next i selected my 3 tracks and i clicked on track - mix and render to a new track. I added a tremolo effect with a reverse serrated and a degree of 0, a level of 100 and a frequence at 25,0 hz. The wave must looks like stuck triangles.

I created a sound by playing with its envelope then i cut it and repeated. Then half the time i insert a linear sinusoid noise at 440 hz and 0. 8 amplitude.

How i did it? --------------------------generate a wistle sound (sinus) at 440hz, 0,8 db, 1 secapply effects : fade in, repeat x3. How can i describe it? To create this effect i sped up and changed the pitch of an alarm clock, and followed it by a beep from a tone generator, which created my desired effect.
