This is what the beginning of most of my days sounds like. My alarm ringing loudly and after i realize that i'm running late i turn it off immediately and run to the bathroom to get ready. This sound is what my alarm makes.

I decided to record my daughter voice saying daddy wake up (baba=daddy), i love her voice, it is better than any other wake up alarm. I liked to share it maybe others can find it useful.

This was recorded with a tascam dr-05 settings 48/16 file rendered out in exact same settings. This was recorded just as it was getting light before sunrise. Nature at its best. Location in south georgia. Nature, birds, and cicadas.

A recording of my alarm clock going off. I used my h4n zoom recorder to catch this repetitive, loud, and annoying sound that is sure to wake you up in the morning. Sound is in stereo, and is in. Wav format.

Rooster crowing. Processed with silence at either end, because there was some random ambiance that didn't add to the recording. Not quite the cliche "cock-a-doodle-doo," but it's clean and it works. Taken at an animal sanctuary with a zoom h2 in 120* pattern.

This recording, by Irving Kaufman, is from about 1919 - the University of California Santa Barbara gives it as "191-", and it cannot, of course, predate the song. While the sound quality is somewhat poor, the lyrics used here are likely nearer that sung in Yip Yip Yaphank than the standard ones given in the sheet music, making it useful. Nature, and man-made machines, wake up on a saturday in a small town in southern illinois. Even though getting "away from it all" and experiencing nature in the deep woods, or a quiet field is very enjoyable, let's not forget that nature often lives and thrives side-by-side with us. I recorded this in my back yard on saturday april 27th, 2013 at 6:45 am and you'll hear the low, but everpresent low rumble of a distant train throughout. But, over and above you hear the incredible variety of calls and sounds made by a family of starlings who seem oblivious to the iron horse and the occasional car. We had rain the night before, so every now and then you hear a loud "plop" as a breeze cuts loose fat rain-drop and it hits the foam wind-screen on my h4n. Starting at around 3:47 and running to 4:08 a cardinal makes a strong appearance. I made this recording using my zoom h4n recorder, using it's internal built-in stereo microphones, with the recording gain on 81, out of 100. Enjoy!.
