I made a creepy sound.

A creepy slowed down, reversed, echoing phone being dialed made by me with audacity.

I used audacity to record this sound with no editing. I used turtle beaches x12 to record. The sound was from an old antique wind-up toy mechanism (music box) that was made in japan. I covered the metal with my finger to change tone of the song. The song played on the music box was called "close to you". Me doing a creepy sound i can imagine being used in the background to create a creepy/scary atmosphere in a game/video/audiobook. Recorded indoors on the 05. 04. 2015 using a blue yeti microphone and audacity recording software.

This is a very quick and dirty lo-fi recording of a very unsettling noise i am currently hearing outside of my 2nd story bedroom window. I have no clue what it could be. I have lived here for over a decade and never heard this sound. It's like wind, but it keeps fading in and disappearing again. When it starts, it sounding like very rapid, almost whistling, shallow breathing. I can't imagine what is making this sound, but it's pretty unnerving, and i'm too creeped out to open the curtains. I'm hoping someone can recognize this and tell me what this is because i'm starting to get very uncomfortable after about 10 minutes of hearing this on and off again. I am attempting to record it as it happens, so i've got several recorded instances of this if you want to hear more of it.

Went to download a hearing test audio from youtube and got this really creepy sound instead. Sounds like some angry computer being possibly tumblr screaming 'go away' before it swallows you whole. Enjoy.
