This is a sound described in the "dr. Discord" scene of "the phantom tollbooth" by norton juster: "two screeches and a bump". I needed it for a play so i created this sound. Another sound that has been heavily edited to the point of being unrecognizable. This sound byte is an odd one that i made when i was pretty bored, it might be good for a drone or sound of a phantom or something. It could even be a warning or system message for a game. Either way, hope that this strange sound is useful to you somehow.

I made this in a day. . . It is bad. . . But i did it with my own things. Like i did not just take a sound from someone else. . .

Ghost or demon, whatever it is, it was very tortured. I should know, because it was me, and the torture was how much that voice hurt my throat.

A short clip i picture being used (in a film) the moment that an innocent person becomes aware that an 'evil' presence might be near them, and as the sound plays their eyes shoot hard left and the heart races.

An eerie ghost effect i created from sampling metallic sounds and processing them.

Ghost saying "they're gone. . . ". Recorded myself saying "they're gone" using a fifine k669 and edited with audacity. Lowered speed, increased pitch, reduced noise. Added distortion and echo.

Inspired by ben croshaw's point 'n' click horror adventure games, i decided i'd try and see if i can make my own creepy whispers using audacity. This is basically some whispered lines and some really low-volume screams superimposed on one another, with some of these lines reversed. I made this on march 2012 and was recorded on my netbook's slightly damaged built-in mic.

An atmosphere made just for fun. I recorded it live, with pro tools, through a beringher b1 microphone, connected to an ur22 mk2 sound card. I used a church reverb and a slight delayfeel free to use it, just add me to the credits of your project :).
