If i made a movie with open space shots, this would be my background. It is originally a rubbing sound, recorded on a zoom h2, then filtered and slightly stretched. It's great as an ominous background sound.

These are a series of gunshots that are supposed to resemble a laser sort of weapon, like an alien weapon. To make this, i used a filter that has a vocoder, polyvox, and talkbox, with distortion added. The initial sound i'm making is a chirping with my mouth and the filter does the rest. I think this works well on its own but it should work well mixed in with another sound effect if you choose to mix it. There is no reverb added or environment effects so its very flexible. Feel free to use it however you like. Credit is appreciated but not necessary. If you do want to give credit, please give credit to cooljunk productions. Thank you.

For this sound i make a sawtooth tone with a wah wah effect and then i add a phaser to make this spawning sound. To make this sound more sci-fi, i chose to add some reverb to create more space around the sound and a fade out at the end.

A recording of myself doing some "creative tuning" willy-nilly around the available spectrum of "websdr at raf hack green", 3/11/13; trying to keep things interesting, yet not lingering too long anywhere in particular, and avoiding rather than seeking intelligibility of the various broadcasters. Credits to kendog88 for the base sound. I found their sound while searching for reaper-like sound effects on here, and the sound they made resembled that of the mass effect reaper, so i decided to overlay some distortion and put a wave filter over the sound, to give it a vibrating feel. Enjoy.

Sound of an emergency shut-down on a spaceship. A robotic voice is saying "enemy detected" attended by a brutal alarm sound. Maybe in a wide room or hall. I created this sound by using the fl studio speech synthesizer plus several effects. Maybe useful in a video game or a short animation movie ;-).

It's an all synthetized sound created on audacity. I wanted to recreat the sound of an ovni, but not one that makes people scared : like there is only one alien in this ovni but it seems pretty nice. I started by created a new audiotrack, then i generated chirps and keeping the default values. Then i duplicated the track and made a stereo track of both. I add wahwah effect on the track, changing and modulate the different default values (for example, highest dept and a lot of resonance). After, i add phaser affect on the whole track to make the sound a little bit more spacial. Then i normalized the track. Last, i raised the speed twice by 2.
