Created with a korg electribe 2 processed by a zoom multistomp ms-70cdr guitar multi-fx pedal, using the particle reverb. The manual states that it models the line6 m9 particle verb. Particle reverb. For this sound, i generated a square wave at a frequency of 440 hz and an amplitude of 0. 80 and a duration of 1 second. I choosed the following effects:1- wahwah with frequency f=1. 5hz , amplitude= 70 %, resonance = 2. 5 and offset frequency = 30%2. Repeat3- compressor (x2)4- fade in (half of the sound)5- fade out ( the other half of the sound)6 - phaser with 10 phases7 - paulstretch with the stretching factor=5 and resolution = 0. 258- echo with 1 second delay , decay factor=0. 59 - cut (to arrange the sound). After all this effects, the sound is like a sound recorded in space with echos.

This is the ambience i created for my sci-fi sitcom accidentally reckless of a dropship of some kind approaching a battlefield (and certain death). The bare bones was created from a field recording of the x-1 bus going down attercliffe road towards sheffield city centre, during a period in 2017 when they were constantly resurfacing the stretch that goes past the swingers club, resulting in the bone shaking rattling sounds you can hear. I then layered on some laser and rocket noises (already uploaded) and some engine type sound effects and shuttle flypast effects that i don't think i've uploaded yet. I hope it's useful for someone else and no need to credit. Just share the freesound love!.

Alien xxx sent me a “cross modulation challenge”. I have tried to be true to his idea, but added automation, so to speak. Oscillator1 is constantly fm-modulating oscillator2. I vary the frequency of oscillator1 with an lfo. The output of oscillator1 is sent to a) left audio channel and b) in to oscillator2. The output of oscillator2 is fed to oscillator1. The degree of cross fm modulation is controlled by a vca controlled by another lfo. The output of oscillator2 is also sent to right audio channel. As i’m writing this i have just made a theoretical patch on a piece of paper. The result is what you hear. No effects added. Straight out of the modular for better or worse.

This is the sound of a spaceship's underbelly cargo hatch closing mid-flight after receiving a cargo transfer. The sequence begins with a warning alarm indicating the hatch closing, followed by the sound of the giant servos rotating the dual bay doors up and inward until the bay is sealed shut and locked. An all clear signal is given, reverberating into the dark, silent chamber. Made in logic pro, completely synthesized with es2 and mac's built in speech synthesis for vocal alarm. No unoriginal samples or sounds were used in the creation of this sound. Use freely as desired, but i would appreciate credit.
