Modern noise - a quiet kitchen at night in an urban surrounding, and the constant sound of a big samsung fridge. Very distant tv sounds and voices. Recorded with a blue yeti on the floor (omnidirectional mode i think), cut to make it loop cleanly and boosted up a bit with goldwave. I kept it short (less than 2 minutes) to make it easier to manipulate in my video editor timelines. Hope someone finds it useful.

Some generative wildfire sfx made with sunvox. The crackling sounds were made by taking some highpassed white noise, ring modulating it with some more white noise, and then using a noise gate to usilate the loudest 'crackles'. The rumbling was created using lowpassed white noise, and the wind was made by bandpassing white noise with a high resonance and randomly sliding the filter frequency. Everything was sent into a reverb and a stereo expander.

This is another spoopy long background music type thing i've thrown together with pitch shift and time stretch and echo. This one is a bit long to sit through and feels to me like it often needs more space in it, but i have no idea what i'm doing so i'm stuck with what i've got. For background creepy mood stuff there are definitely some good 30ish second stretches in there that are different enough from each other to suit somebody somewhere though, i'm sure.

Rain & distant thunder around 8pm in warren, michigan (suburb of detroit). Recorded on a zoom h1n. Some faint traffic sounds & a bit of white noise coming from an air-conditioner unit. Zoom h1n was placed in my porch light compartment about 2 feet below our rain gutter. Most of the original hour long recording was ruined due to wind gust, but i edited it down to the only continuous 11 minutes without the gust of wind.

A walking recording, starts off with a very noisy garbage truck, then all sorts of other street sounds in east village, nyc. Ends with me entering my apartment building through a double door. Explicit content starts at around -2:00 where a guy wants the *whole* world to hear his drama and he uses some explicit language while i'm waiting to cross the avenue to my building. Recorded in july of 2019 at blue cliff monastery (pine bush, ny) using a zoom h1n and 3dio fs binaural microphone. At 9:30 p. M the"great togetherness meditation hall" was empty except for two meditators (one of whom can be heard leaving about three and a half minutes into the recording). The natural creaking of the building can be heard throughout. Additional sounds include outside crickets, cars passing on a nearby road, and an occasional airplane. The track volume was maximized using goldwave.

A recording of the upper pond in jones park, brunswick east made in january of 2023 on a pleasant summer's night around 10pm. I came for the wildlife, but also captured the sounds of city. Along with frogs, bats and insects you can hear music, a dog, a bicycle, traffic, and people. The conversation might not be suitable for children.
