Every saturday morning workers roll the large garbage bin down the driveway at our apartment and dump it into the garbage truck. Usually it's an annoyance, because they come early, but today i decided to record it. I think they thought i was recording them to complain or something, but i told them it was just for my sound effects collection. Recorded with: sanken cs-1e, fostex fr2le.

I used to work security at an apartment in a major college town so i had quite a few opportunities to catch some action. I'm not going to reveal the name of the city or town i was in for obvious privacy reasons. This was one of my best catches. Her sexy moans makes her sound like a porn star and if i'm not mistaken, i think she was getting anal. It sounded like she said "fuck me in the ass" at least twice, maybe three times throughout the recording.

I recorded a pretty gnarly storm on 8/25 around 1:30 am. The cars are off the road but you still get that city reflection. I placed two rode nt5s in my living room windows and set them to record for about nine minutes. It wouldn't be great for an outdoor situation but it's a good "thunderstorm from an apartment in the city" recording. It's in 16 44. 1, stereo. Use it for whatever you want, no credit needed. -jp.

Recorded with lifecam hd3000 you can hear kids playing outside my window, the neighbors' stereo in the apartment next door, their air conditioner, their vacuum cleaner after they shut down the stereo, they're tromping around and hitting the walls, a few distant birds, and one toot of a train about to come into town. It's forbidden for them to blow the horn inside city limits.

The year of the roster began on january 28, 2017. The night before, january 27, as traditions dictate chinese family gather to have a great dinner and get lose with baijiu -chinese white liquor-. After dinner, a little tipsy, chinese went to the street and start firing all kind of pyrotechnic. Amazing spectacle -even been disastrous for the air you breathe for the next few days-. This is a short clip from an intense thunderstorm, recorded from my second story queens apartment from an open bathroom window during the early afternoon of july 15, 2015. Some traffic and airplanes can be heard in the background. This clip was recorded using an apple iphone 6 and the zoom iq6 x/y stereo microphone with a rode dead kitten windscreen at low volume, normalized later. This recording lasts until the battery on my iphone hit 5%, at which point the zoom handy recorder app automatically stopped.

In the foreground, quiet noises from neighboring apartments can be heard as well as the calls of countless swallows who nest in the eves of the 19th century houses which this part of town is famed for. It was raining one night so i used a sony px720 digital voice recorder to catch some hopefully cool atmospheric type sounds. I placed the recorder next to my apartment window and stepped away for a few minutes. My window is situated right next to a rain-gutter so you hear the rain hitting the pavement along with the rain flowing down the gutter. You also hear four different cars drive by during the recording. Well that's about it hopefully these sounds are of some use to people.

Recorded the sounds with a zoom h1n in my apartment. Snare is a flick with my fingers on a wooden door + added snarebuzz in post production to it, kick is a hit with my hand on the wall produced some nice lows. I had to create an another track for just the transient, but essentially made from the same sound. Hihat is the stove's clicking sound with added reverb. Post production made in ableton live lite with mostly the integrated audio effects, but i also used some free plugins to create this drum loop. I hope you enjoy, it's 100% royalty-free.

A large (12 person) elevator located in an apartment building that was built as a hotel for the 1972 olympic games in munich, germany. There are four of these in the building, and they all rattle like nobody's business. In this recording, a part of the elevator arrival chime that plays on the ground floor can be heard in the beginning. Then, i walk into the elevator (two clicks in the recording here) and the doors close. Then it travels up 12 floors and the doors open with a very concerning metal rubbing sound.

This is a recording made in italy in the province of rieti while i filmed everything, as i was returning home, then i left my apartment, then i took the elevator and went to the top floor where i then went up to the roof of my palace, then i took the elevator again and went downstairs out the door and then got into the car. This recording was done with the shure mv88 plus digital stereo microphone connected to my new iphone 12 pro.

Going outside to check the mail. I go out the inner door and close it, you can hear the weather stripping dragging the floor, then go out the outer door onto the porch. I go over and check the neighbor's mail to take up to her later, then check our own, then go back into the apartment where you can hear the tv. Recorded with zoom iq7 & iphone se2020 using voice memos, then edited from the larger mp4 with goldwave on the pc.

Tokyo outdoor night ambience. This is a recording of the shinagawa area of tokyo after 1:00 am. Crickets can be heard chirping in the distance, as can cars on a usually busy road. The trainstation is closed, but there is still some activity that can be heard as well as wind and other night ambient sounds. Recording was made on the 6th floor of a highrise apartment behind shinagawa station. 2 mics placed at a 120 degree angle were used. No filtering was used. The only editing done was removal of the beginning and end of this clip.

Ambient recording of the courtyard in my apartment complex. The are two story brick buildings, next to a main road, border-line highway. The traffic light means that the birds and neighbor's dog start predominant, then are taken over by the rush of traffic as the light changes to green. A sunny day, but clouds are in the distance, as an impending storm is about to roll in. The whining dog seems to share his sentiment about the dark clouds. Recorded with a zoom h6, stereo xy adapter set to 120 degree spread. Set up through a wide open window as to cut down on wind noise.

This ambience was recorded on zoom h6 with msh-6 mid-side stereo mic capsule. Recording was edited and decoded. Mic was positioned right in a frame of an open window so that it won't get flood from a heavy rain and pick up much room reflections. My flat where i recorded from was on 4th floor. There was a busy street 50m far from the apartment building itself, a bit further there was a park. Rain at that night was heavy. Also you can hear several heavy thunder hits of various distance throughout the whole recording. Hope this recording will help to enhance the sound of your next project. A short recording of construction work on a ten-storey apartment building in the blackhorse road area of walthamstow, london. General construction noises. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is some processing to this recording to ‘normalize’ the levels and light eq-ing. I do not require any credit or attribution. This is a recording made in the room of my apartment in italy in the province of rieti, while i am testing a drone dji phantom 4 pro clone, purchased 3 days ago on the vova site, only during the test it suffered two accidents. The first 5 minutes for 3 flights everything went well, then on the fourth flight, as the drone was also without para-propellers, the first small accident happened, on landing he fell to the ground from the bed, then resumed flying for another two times. On the third flight there was a second bigger accident: first he started spinning the propellers against the wall for a while, then he fell to the ground rolling until he hid under the bed. This time, however, even after this great accident, the drone resumed flying normally as if nothing had happened. This recording was done with my iphone connected to the shure mv88 plus microphone.

Let me set the scene for this audio because i am a nerd. . . Burbank, california. A large apartment/condominium complex with an open courtyard and a swimming pool and hot tub. Now, for some reason in la, nobody ever seems to actually use pools or hot tubs anymore so it's not hard to get clean audio. So, from beginning to end you will basically hear me turn the automatic shutoff dial on the wall, walk to the hot tub, get in the hot tub, and sit in various positions for extended periods of time. I was alone for the entire experience (wife was at work) and nobody joined. It's very clean audio and safe for all production. Recorded on 11/20/2018 in burbank, ca. Enjoy,. Christopher c. Courter.

In front of my desk in my room is a wood paneled wall with a cubbie. It's about a foot wide, 10 inches from top to bottom and maybe 7 inches deep. I'm just guessing. Around this cubbie is a border of wood. In the bottom right corner under the border i have jammed one end of an elastic string that used to have glitter on it. It's from a christmas box of chocolates my uncle sent me last year. I stand in front of this cubbie whose bottom is at chin height, (i'm only 5ft1in) so my arms are above my head as i pull this string across the cubbie to the border on the left which acts as my only fret. The string is a few inches longer than the cubbie is wide, but when i pull it it gets longer so my hand is 3/4 along it's length as i pull back and forth across the border to tighten and loosen the string. No matter how hard i pull it never pops loose from it's mooring. The recording starts with me standing up from my chair. In the first part until 01:54 i am playing the string at maybe 30° from horizontal. It has a buzzy quality that reminds me of an african folk instrument i can't remember the name of. From 01:33 to 01:54 i'm trying to imitate a korean folk vibrato kind of thing. In the second part until 02:29 i am playing 45 to 60° from horizontal and it sounds like a full-bodied string bass with no buzz. In the last part beginning at 02:34 i am playing about 75° from horizontal across the top border of the cubbie on the left so it sounds buzzy and african again, and i'm just going crazy goofing around with a crazy bluesy rock sort of rhythm. There didn't seem to be any homemade 1-stringed wall-cubbie basses on this site so here is mine, have fun. I don't play it if mom is home because the living room is on the other side of the wall and she can't hear tv. Also my neighbor can probably hear it in the next apartment lol. Recorded in my dad's bedroom with lifecam hd3000 webcam. This is a much better recording than my previous oxygen concentrator file, as i hauled my desktop into the bedroom at the other end of the apartment where the machine now is, when i was home alone. The webcam is on the bed about 3 or 4 feet from the machineat the beginning of the file you hear me flip the big switch and the machine comes on with a long on beep and thumps. I edited it to start then. At 00:1. 8 what i suspect is the water pump comes on, though i may be wrong. That's when the gurgling starts though. The machine has a small reservoir for distilled water to moisten the airflow. A cup or two lasts several daysyou'll hear various hisses and thumps in a 15. 6 second cycle as it runs. At 03:03 i flip the big switch to shut the machine off, and it bubbles and gurgles away for the rest of the file, as water i assume slowly perculates back into the reservoir, the bubbling getting quieter and quieter until it doesn't even sound like bubbling anymore, until it finally ticks to a stop. At 03:16 you hear me step as i get my foot loose from the mic cord lol. At 04:13 the furnace shuts down as a car finishes going by outside in the bass register, faint traffic noises and the furnace being the only background noises you'll hear aside from my moving around a couple times, and a faint bluejay at the end. At about 07:00 you can barely hear the machine anymore, but i could hear a faint ticking with my own ears. At 07:04 the furnace comes back on. At 07:08 you'll hear a bluejay faintly calling outside and a car going by outside after, which finishes the file at 07:20. I edited out my walking to the computer to shut the recording down. In the first half-cycle the first cylinder receives air from the compressor, which lasts about 3 seconds. During that time the pressure in the first cylinder rises from atmospheric to about 1. 5 times normal atmospheric pressure (typically 20 psi/138 kpa gauge, or 1. 36 atmospheres absolute) and the zeolite becomes saturated with nitrogen. As the first cylinder reaches near pure oxygen (there are small amounts of argon, co2, water vapour, radon and other minor atmospheric components) in the first half-cycle, a valve opens and the oxygen enriched gas flows to the pressure equalizing reservoir, which connects to the patient's oxygen hose. At the end of the first half of the cycle, there is another valve position change so that the air from the compressor is directed to the 2nd cylinder. Pressure in the first cylinder drops as the enriched oxygen moves into the reservoir, allowing the nitrogen to be desorbed back into gas. Part way through the second half of the cycle there is another valve position change to vent the gas in the first cylinder back into the ambient atmosphere, keeping the concentration of oxygen in the pressure equalizing reservoir from falling below about 90%. The pressure in the hose delivering oxygen from the equalizing reservoir is kept steady by a pressure reducing valve. Older units cycled with a period of about 20 seconds, and supplied up to 5 litres per minute of 90+% oxygen. Since about 1999, units capable of supplying up to 10 lpm have been available.
