I was creating a kick drum sound using a model d synthesizer to see if i could and i realized the upper register had some very interesting percussive blips. I recorded starting with c or c# below middle c and upward for usable sounds and thought they might be interesting and useful for someone else as well. This is a foghorn-like sound that i created using an accidentally recorded poot from a friend. I stretched the sound bite a few times while lowering the pitch, added a couple different reverb effects, and then finished it with some parametric eq, raising the bass, and using a low pass filter to cut out the high frequencies. If you would like the original poot sound, i have also uploaded it as fart sound 1.

A cool front had recently passed bringing with sharper temperatures and northwest winds sifting through the still green cholorophyll-laden leaves. You hear the sound of children fairly low in the background as they enjoy the playground. True stereo recording made with maantz pmd661 and two sennheiser me-66 microphones mounted in tripods.

Recorded at tea, a museum in santa cruz de tenerife. I was invited by dancer masu fajardo to create some sound ambients for a dance piece she was doing there, we decided to use only the sounds being created by her body and her interactions with the space. Here we can hear her stepping on a floor that's been previously filled up with salt. It's very subtle but works great as sime sort of glitch or crackle, if that's your thing. Recorded with a zoom h4 n.

A wonderful typical mid-summer soundscape of cicadas, and some katydids recorded on the edge of a small town in illinois. Towards the end of the recording you will hear a very cool doppler-effect as the truck passes from right to left. Recorded about 8:00 at night with my zoom h4-n recorder using it's internal microphones. I had the volume level set fairly high -- 80 -- so you will probably also hear the constant hum of the various central air conditioning units. .

Field recording of times square in new york city recorded at 6 am on a saturday morning. The recorder is situated in the center of times square, some cars (mostly taxis) are underway, some (very few) people as well, cleaners and a team of subway construction workers are on the scene. Recording was conducted in march 2012 with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.

I made this pad sound by starting with a traditional saw wave and mixing various effects together such as reverb and chorus. The wav file also has pre-defined loop points that can be used in samplers that support the functionality. This was recorded on july 4th, 2013 in enumclaw, wa. I was not expecting the bomber to fly over and it was a tribute to one of the last surviving members (edward saylor) of the doolittle raid on tokyo on april 18th, 1942. He was in the parade too. I can just imagine the sound of hundreds flying over in ww2. There is a bit of distortion as the plane flew directly overhead. Please comment on what you will use it for. :^).

I recorded this with my yamaha pocketrak at the paramount theater in seattle on feb. 29th, 2016 with one track duplication. This is the applause for stewart copeland and the seattle rock orchestra. Hamburg city harbour #1. A metal bridge over two pontoon piers is squeaking in the light waves of the elbe river at the hamburg city ferry terminal "fischmarkt", sound of the waves hitting the pier are audible as well. Blends well with the other 2 recordings of the "hamburg city harbour" pack. Recorded with a spaced stereo pair of km184 into a sd788t, 48khz, 24bit.

I generated 3 tracks. The first is a noise brown 2 seconds, where i added the effect gverb (first second) and the effect wahwah (second second). The second is a sound of sinusoid d 2 seconds, where i put a nivelleur to increase sound. I generated silences to get a metronome. For the third, i generate the same sound as the sinusoid second track, then i added the effects wahwah and nivelleur. Finally, i do repeat all tracks and i remove any noise.

This is a short, but detailed audio recording from my police scanner. It is the "ending" of a dea surveillance being held in my local community. You will hear the dea agents (ground units) following the target suspect as he leaves home, then eventually at the end, you will hear the local pd meeting up with them to stop and capture the suspect. Because of the short-range distant of the dea's radio transmissions, some audio will be "scratchy", yet it is audible. Enjoy!.

This version is heavily edited, with some filtering and compression applied, as most of the recording was distorted (i was too close to the siren!), although it should be useable with appropriate filtering to suit your purpose. Sound from near my flat (great barr birmingham uk) at around 4am. There are various bird sounds within this file aswell as being able to hear the m6 motorway in the distance (i did try to accent this by pointing the mic in different directions). There are also 3 types of footstep sounds, grass, dirt with stones, concrete slab. My wind shield isnt the best so hopefully you can find some use of the sounds!.

This is a recording of applause at the end of the concert in a large auditorium. The conductor and performers walk off and on stage for multiple bows throughout. This is recorded with a small field recorder from a seat in the audience. The file politely clips in parts as people near me clapped, but it's not noticeable. The cough in the beginning is easily cut out, the file loops really well, so you can just delete that section, and it will sound continuous.

This was recorded in a small, underground brick wine cellar during a wine-tasting event in europe. While the language spoken in the clip is slovak, it's impossible to pick out any indivdiual conversations, so this could be used as background noise in any project. Waves coming onto the shore at dunwich in suffolk, uk. This is the north sea. There are people (and a dog) on the beach. The beach is a mixture of sand and stone, with stones being piled up further from the sea and soft sand with some stones at the edge of the water. The movement of stones can be heard, as can a young child and others. This was recorded with a sennheiser me66/k6 attached to a zoom h5. No editing.
