Fieldrecording on a winter afternoon at the baltic sea. Used equipment-zoom f4, 2x tritonaudiofethead phantom, 2x akg p420, windprotection (blimp). The first microphone stood on the beach (eighth character), the second microphone hung two meters higher than the beach (spherical character).

Waves in the baltic sea. I put off my shoes and went a couple of steps in to the water and recorded the sound of waves around me. It was summer evening. Ambisonics recording made with zoom h3vr (ambix format).

Microphone: zoom iq7 with simple windscreen not edited stereo 120deg. Baltic sea: calm sea, waves about 20cm amplitude. Best filtering for wind-noise: high-pass 125hz to 150hz / -18db/oct.

Recorded with my zoom h2n near the pier in prerow (darss) late in the evening. On deck aboard a baltic sea car ferry bound from rostock/germany to trelleborg/sweden. It is late evening, and the ferry is cruising clear of the harbor into the open sea. The recording features the ambient noise on deck, mainly the drone of the ship and it's diesels, some sea in the background, and the occasional door opening and closing. Recorded with a zoom h2n. Wide angle recording of a rainy late summer day on a beach in fehmarn, a large island off the west german baltic riviera. It is windy, the sea is quite choppy, several kite surfers are on the water. City sewer outflow to the baltic sea in gdynia, poland. Outflow dry, zoom h4n's internal mics placed 30 cm inside a sewer outflow (about 1m diameter) directly to the sea. No editing whatsoever. If you're as sick as me, you could hear the waves coming in and out of this tight pipe. . .
