A singular comedic mosquito buzz. Created in audacity by:1. Generating a sawtooth wave2. Equalizing the tone slightly (a bit less high end)3. Applying the vibrato-phase. Ny plugin in pairs like: 5. 1, 5. 2, 8. 1, 8. 2, 0. 5, 0. 51 hz5. Applying a ring modulation plugin in a similar way. If you want something more retro, equalize down the higher frequencies.

This kind of wasp is building individual nests made out of mud. Then they lay an egg inside of each one and brings a reserve of food in it for the future larvae. This is the sound of the female wasp working on its mud coccoon. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 with a rode ntg-1.

A small fly trying to fly out but is blocked by the window's insect net. Buzz sounds mixed with outdoor ambient noise in a quiet desert town in israel. Tried to help it out but it wanted to stay put. Recorded it with my iphone se internal mic.

Stereo recording 48khz 24bit from the top of hangman's hill in the malvern hills, uk. Recorded for world listening day 2014 on 18 july in the early afternoon. Recorded with rode nt4 and sennheiser mkh416 through sound devices 442 into tascam dr-40. Additional processing in sound forge. The nt4 had quite a lot of top end hiss that i didn't really notice until too late.

This sound was very simple to make. I just took the sound of an opera singer singing a scale and added reverb to it. Nothing more, nothing less. The sound does not have to bee used for just ghosts, but pretty much anything. Like an opera singing in the shower. By the way, this sound was used in a song that i made. Early in the morning in a small village up in apuan alps, tuscany. A small path around the property, small birds, bees, pets and just the nature.

Hi. This soundfile was recorded on 03. 06. 2017 in szczecin, nw poland (gumience district to be precise). The time of this recording is from around 3 a. M. (when the sun was allready rising) till around 7:30 a. M. What's funny about that, is that i turned my recorder on and layed it on the windowsill (display up) on altitude around 5 meters (first floor), (the recorder is facing ne direction) because the birds were allready going crazy!, and after some time i felt asleep, and the recorder was left on. There are many many kinds of birds around, cause there is a big cementery near by, with lots of trees, and some wild fruit orchard too. I had this one moment, when the birds were so active, that let's say they spinned it me around, and worked me up to a beautifull spiritual moment with their sounds, and then i felt asleep. Later through the recording you can hear me snoring, you can hear my alarm clock going on (and that haven't woken me up too;). The bass resonance of cars passing by makes this recording a bit heavy in some places, and the wind made it's mark too, but that shoudn't be a big of an issue here. As i listen to it now, so much things happened while i was asleep. . . [ 3:30 a. M. !: some people are singing and speaking, and you can clearly hear one of them saying: "kurwa, grubo", which means - "f**k, heavy". Later on, the neighbours weren't sloppy too;). Hearing such recordings doesn't give you the liminous feeling of the place where it was recorded. You only get audio here, not the vision, the light, the brightness, the movement, the actions, and the space, the physical elements, only the best can imagine (so if you don't have such an imagination, pm me and i can send you a photo of the place where all this took place). Anyway, i hope that the birds will keep rockin' their solos, and the bees will keep visiting all the flowers around forever! (who knows, i might become one of them sometime;). So there is plenty of room to explore extensively. Marvel at the submerged trees, enjoy the chirping field crickets and quench your thirst at one of the many cafes or restaurants on the edge of this nature reserve.
