I literally dropped pieces of bark onto a rock in the sequoia national forest. This was recorded september 4th 2014 on ten mile creek in hume, ca on a digital hand recorder (sorry i don't remember which type) only trimming has been done in audacity, not other editing.

I needed the sound of a sign rattling violently in the wind, so i manufactured this with a piece of corrugated metal that had been screwed onto a piece of wood fretwork. I rattled it against a wood box in front of the mic.

Minimalist beat captured in a natural setting, probably some siding on a building being replaced. Mixes metal rattling (like screws or coins) with hammering and a low background voice. Portions have been looped and mixed, could be cut and looped in various patterns.

Playing with a bike pump. Recorded wide-stereo, 24-bit in an echoey bathroom. The files has been edited to the best parts. Some degree of headphone bleed is audible in the recording. This makes a pretty good whale sound if you stretch it 500-1000 percent.

They look at the combination of complexity and simplicity of the rings. Everyone will be very impressed with all the colors that are caused by the refraction of sunlight by the ice present. There are the impressive moons of saturn. The one with more mysteries than the other. At that time maybe life has been found on or in those moons.

This is a recording of an analogue bass synthesizer, made by focusrite saffire pro 26. It's a smooth sound with an instant attack and two final wobble created with an lfo. The sound has been equalized and compressed and some reverb mixed with an aux. 140 bpm. Good fun.
